Inside or outside, Jap version, or 'inferior' US, it has to be said it's the best screen I've ever had a naughty little peek at. I've stopped looking at it now though. They won't let me stay any longer. 'Widescreen eyes', that's what I'll get, they say. Although, my b/w tv 'square eyes' never surfaced. Although, I do have astigmatism(sp), which is described to non-'clever-people' as 'oblong' eye-balls, so I guess I've been watching too much telly in my time. I say, 'oblong' but I mean 'rugby' as in 'rugby ball' eye-balls. I suppose rugby balls are basically widescreen football (soccer) (footy) balls, so in someways I could do without extra widescreen influences. I'm pissed, I'm waffling. Again. (Waffling not *pissed*, I'm not a regularly known as... I .. who? In the bath?? Well, get them out!!! An inch of water can drown a man!! GET HIM OUT! (Closing bracket and all that.) again)

The PSPs screen is shit, yes, but I don't know about the "hot" part :D

Take it that you didn't see it long enough to notice the massive smearing, blurring and ghosting?

I didn't really notice much ghosting, and definitely not to a distracting extent. Were the UK/US screens more prone to that? It's the only screen that I've found to work well outside (apart from my original GP32 NLU - I should have kept it!). It was however not at all ideal for emulation purposes, that's where 320x256's come into their own. *Comforts GP32.. "See. I wasn't ALL nasty. Come here.. lovely screen"*

Frankly i'm surprised he got one with a screen with no problems.

My first had 1/3rd of the screen screwed up, and the replacement was full o' stuck pixels.

And don't get me started on the shoulder buttons...

You´re not serious, are you?
That being said, the GP2X screen is as bad.

The best lit screen for outside use is the GBA SP one (the old frontlit version) followed by the Zodiac. Unlit sceens are best though.

It's much hotter if you've been eating Mexican food.

Is yours a Sharp screen, dcgm? I've had a couple of Japanese 1.0's and had no problems. A friend's UK one seemed fine enough to me too - no dead pixels, or this blur that people speak of. I'm a bit of a perfectionist too, it has to be said.

The GP32 looked extremely dark and pixelated after using my PSP for extended periods. Although the pixelation seemed to suit emulator display better than the preciseness of the PSP's screen. I'm thinking that I may prefer the GP2x Mk2's screen for this reason.

Oddly, my spacebar has been playing up today, and if it wasn't for my attention to correction, this post couldquiteeasilyhavelookedlikedthis.

It will be then. I was very impressed by the quality of the emulators when I got my psp. It's a pity the firmware updates have been ruining the scene.

I hate the psp for a couple reasons:

1.The battery life is about..2 hours...
2.Replaceable batteries are costly...
3.Memory sticks are costly...
4.An optical drive? For a handheld? Are you insane?
5.Won't fit in any...uh...small places..

1. No, not really. I get roughly 5-7 hours.
2. Why do you want a replacement battery? One is just fine.
3. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006TI9W...glance&n=172282 (EXPENSIVE? LMAO)
4. couldnt care less.
5. Not much bigger than the original DS. Slim and fits easily in my pocket.

In other words, Fallacy of Argument, Loubear.

Advanced Placement Language and Composition FTW.
