This is probably a silly question, but better to be safe than sorry.

Is it safe to connect the audio output of the Pandora to the auxiliary input of a car stereo?

The car stereo's manual mentions a load impedience of 4 ohms, but I'm not sure if this applies to the auxiliary port in addition to the wiring between the car's audio player and the loudspeakers.

I have an audio cable with a 3.5mm jack at both ends if the light is green.

I do it all the time, as long as you don't connect it to the speakers outlet, you should be fine.

The speakers can have a maximal impendance of 4 ohms. I think you misread this part.

So you just have to connect the headphones out of the pandora to the linein on your car-stereo. Should work.

Edit: Well, no guarantee in any way here ;)

It is safe, and it sure works well. My Pandora sounds better plugged into my car than my iPhone4 does.

Would be nice to one day have one-touch Bluetooth pairing-to-the-car working.
