Shutting down the Pandora

So I see that when people post a thread about shutting the Pandora down, it's usually because they've got it plugged in, and were only hitting it into soft-off anyway.

My problem is different in that I unplug the unit, use sudo poweroff, or just the menu with Log Off -> Shutdown, and it looks like it's working, up until the point that it seemingly hangs at the final point of turning off, leaving me with a full progress bar and a screen that is still wasting power.

I'm wondering if this has been seen before, or if there's at least a way to turn the nice progress bar into a slightly more verbose event log so that I can see what's hanging the shutdown process.

Cheers!

I see I should have checked the other forum before posting, plenty of info there. The whole 'force reboot while holding right shoulder' workaround seems to be working nicely, so... ignore me I suppose :D
