So, your link actually contains little more information than your thread title does. Fair enough for creating a placeholder for this stuff though; it could be interesting.

But for now, move along, nothing to see here.

Okay... I got some more infos - and it's more than just controllers that are planned.
I am not allowed to tell you more (and not everything is 100% fix yet).

Some way to rip my DC games would be nice. I've read that the linux kernel supposedly once had support, but I don't think I have any drives that will read the GD-ROM format nicely. A broadband adaptor seems to only real way to do it at all well - you can also do a serial port mod, but that's slow and flakey, so normally a pain in the arse to get anything approaching a full disc read out of it.

There is another Way to Rip your Games legaly.
I bought an Dreamcast SD Card Adapter on Ebay and with Dreamshell i was able to Rip Pier Solar in around 35 Minutes ;)
The only Problem is that it will give you serveral Files which want to be converted to a .cdi File.

The Way with the Dreamcast BBA was too complicated for me.
I bought one Dreamcast BBA Adapter but was never able to Rip my own Games with it.

Another Way will be to Modificate your Dreamcast with an extra IDE Port for HDDs or Compact Flash Card with soldering.

We will see what Retro-Bit Produce ;)
Maybe ripping your own Games will be not important then :)

I heard the SD card adaptor (presumably the one that plugs in to the serial port on the back) was so flakey as to make it unlikely to succeed in the time required to transfer the data. If you got it to work that's interesting!

I heard it was flakey in that way for playing games. I don't remember what, if anything, I read about ripping them with it. I don't know how many DC games you have, so it could end up being a huge waste of time, but if it succeeds sometimes it might be worth it to backup some of them.

Maybe they'll take a lead from the Switch & release games on SD type cards, that is of course if they even release a DC compatible console.

I wants to play Dreamcast Games on Pyra this year
Hopefully the Retro Boy will find its way on the market after they found a way to avoid legal problems
