this may seem like a weird question but i found this adapter on gp2xstore.com

http://www.gp2xstore.com/products/Gp2x_Power_Supply-7-0.html

and im wondering if i use a uk plug into the adapter if it will work in the uk ?
im also wondering if anyone has tried these and what ma are they rated and are they regulated ?

heres the specs

Code:
INPUT: 100~250V, 50~60Hz, 0.3A

OUTPUT: +3.3V 2.0A.
can anyone translate that for me ? is it 2000ma ?

Edit

If i decided to get the bob could i use this power supply with that ? or do i just plug it into the gp2x and it powers the bob ? (mk2 gp2x)

thx for any replies :)

Thanks for bringing this topic up. Just realised I bought a power adapter from play-asia without thinking about compatibility. Will it work in Australia ok?

its the plug from italy (i think all of europe, if italy is not part of europe then im sorry: i dunno geography)
but the other side looks kind of like an 8, so i (in the us) just plug it into my psp adaptor with the gp2x adptor
(plug>link a form psp>link b from 2x>2x)

My adaptor from Play-Asia turned out to be for southern europe even though I live in the USA. I just bought an adaptor since the adaptor runs fine with practically all voltages.

INPUT: 100~250V, 50~60Hz, 0.3A

OUTPUT: +3.3V 2.0A.

Looks like a world wide voltage specification to me, and yes, it means it provides 2amps (2000mA) output, which is more than enough.

yeah that suppy is 2000mA.
And no, you do not have to power the bob if you have a mk2 gp2x.
