-Great compatibility
-Internal database naming
-Load/Save game states
-Gamma Correction

comments are welcome :)

Awesome! Love the name, too.

By the way though, I can't get porren.exe to work at all.. am I doing something wrong here? :/

That's normal as porren.exe only recognize file .sg
you don't have to change the file extension before launching porren.exe , he will do it for u ;)

Thanks for the fast response, krousti - though they started out as .sg's and I renamed to sg1's to see if it would fix anything. With .SG extension I just get..

C:\park>porren c:\park\sg1k
Park-O-Rama Renaming tool v1.0

C:\park>dir sg1k

10/20/1998 06:01 PM 32,768 Chack'n_Pop_(SG-1000).sg

..with none of the files renamed. :(

Is there a specific rhyme or reason to the renaming numbers, or can I just whip up a win32 bash script to rename them sequentially?

Oops.. I guess it does rely on the numbers in the name to figure out what the title of the game is..

Still, if anyone cant' get it to work right, you can just rename them manually and then just try to guess which game is which. :) I am using Windows XP w/ latest service packs and NTFS all around just fyi.

Emu is pretty nice from what I have seen so far though. Good job. :)

thanks :)) glad that u appreciate it :)

that's weird about your file extension troubles, do you tried with the extension in lowercase ?

EDIT:
I think i just get it ! :) you forgot the last "\" in the path, you have to finish the path with the "\"

"porren c:\sg1k\"

it should work after , sorry , i coded this tool really quickly :)

If I try to rename the rom 'Music Station V1.6 (SG-1000) [!].sg' porren.exe crashes (worked well with all other roms)

Ooops, Music Station is a homebrewn rom , and i forgot to implement it coz this rom use a memory mapper (the rom is more than 48ko which is the max for sg1000 game). Thanks for the report

:D yeah i know, i used the characters from the japanes ads for the sg1000.
I love the eighties look (1983) , but i know people will find it weird ;)

The crazy world of GP32 Emulators continues. :D Brilliant. So much to do, so little time... :)

it looks good even if sg-1000 seens really too old for me
anyway here one more perfect emu for gp32!! :)

could you please port your Rick Dangerous Xmas to gp32???

for me xrick is the best gp32 game, so if u port it, you'll have done probably the new best gp32 game...for me... :)

Great work Krousti :)

ill be posting your excellent emu on 4 sites in a minute but i cant see the news on your site

/me kicks his PC
Thanks Wraggster ,i'm happy to get back to emulation scene :)

Noshir : Xrick is really a great port and there's also casteway who emulate really nicely rick series. Our Dangerous Xmas is really a dedicated gba game, it rely a lot on the hardware, and porting to gp32'd ask nearly a total rewrite, so we prefer working on something new :)
