Omap5432 Dev board

It's an A-15, so should be ok.

About boards, i've seen two different ones.

Does someone knows if there's more ?

These aren't the official Ti board, are they ?

How much is the Ti board ?

What's different ?
Well the Community edition is about $100 cheaper, but doesn't have wifi/bluetooth etc... which I'm not really using.. The full version of the IGEPv5 board has more ram 4GB vs 2GB on the official Ti board.

I must admit that it's tempting ^^.

What's your feeling about overall usage, net browsing etc. ?

It's a fine for browsing virtually no hesitation vs the Pandora.. 2GB makes a ton of difference with web browsing. Obviously some issues with flash sites.. Usage wise I forget at times I'm not on my Linux Desktop as it's very responsive, things pop up fast and run smooth.. even when I have a ton of things going on at once, Geany, GIMP, OpenOffice, IRC..  And this is all running a desktop at 1920x1200. I would post a screenshot of a very cluttered desktop I took earlier, but at work right now.

^ will do.. Although I will be gone for the weekend.. so may not happen until Sunday evening.  If I remembered to power it back on this morning I could of done it remotely..

Wanna get sick again?  Weren't you told to wear your OMAP5 SoCks when you go outside? :D

A smaller module that is coming which gives an idea of what a plug in soc could be like

I like the IGEPv5 with 4 gig and wifi, time to think of replacing the i.MX515 Cortex-A8 Genesis smarttop unit.  :)
This is interesting because they talk about the OMAP5430, which isn't supposed to exist.
Well, it did exist in form of samples during Electronica fair in November 2012 and they write "In Development". But it apparently did not find its way into mass production. And more information about the OMAP5430 did exist until Oct 2013.

Well, it can hardly be "in development" if the chip isn't going to be produced. So either they are lying (or have outdated information on their website) or that chip is going to be produced.

Thx !

Well I know I don't have everything working properly so the lsmod may be incomplete..
