So, I'm checking out gPodder for my podcasts .. it all seams serviceable.

What I'm not sure about, and it might be a feature that I haven't found; is there an audio player that remembers the playback position of audio files?

I consider it kinda to be a crucial feature if you listen to podcasts ... some of them run kinda long.

The last version of gpodder does this with smplayer2 embedded.

I don't remember if it's by default, but under Preferences->General->Remember time position.

Alright, I tried that, have you? When loading something up from gPodder, podcasts apea to load from the start.

Just below that setting, it asks to save in one or multiple ini files. Im wondering if these ini files are not being written?

Files are saved in: appdata/gpodder351/smplayer2/file_settings

And the option, multiple ini.

It works here with any podcast i have.
