More Than 128 Mb...


None of these adapters will work unless there are changes made to support higher capacities in the GP32's BIOS and SDK, i.e. changes that would allow >128mb SMC's to work.

I don't think that's possible as the ID's for >128mb cards are not known/don't exist yet.

Also, as you can't buy 256mb SMC's yet, I think that even if support were added, using an XX -> SM adapter would still only allow 128mb to be seen, as the adapter itself would only know how to "show" the first 128mb. The adapter doesn't know the ID(s) required to signify SMC's bigger than 128mb.

Even if support could be added, current GP32 apps/games would have to be recompiled to work again, so someone said.

The only that we can possibly do is emulate 2x128mb cards, but since you'd need to turn off the gp32 to select between the cards, it's easier to just swap the cards in the first place.
 
If you could get it working, would it be possible to use one of those CF bluetooth cards with it?
