I've been trying to update one of the descriptions on how to install development tools to the Pandora from the wiki: http://pandorawiki.org/Compile_directly_on_the_Pandora#Using_Angstrom_packages

Some of the problems (the one with libpng, for example) don't exist anymore - but it seems that a couple of packages are missing in the Pandora repository... For example, I can't even find something that contains GNU make? There's also nothing like libgcc-dev.

Would I have to fetch this stuff manually from Angstrom?

Yes, I've been using cdevdools and Code::Blocks all the time, but they both contain quite a few updated libraries and such - which is fine sometimes, but also leads to new PNDs with the 10th version of QT packaged in...

I've compiled make for you, libgcc is part of main gcc package.
*cough* didn't come around looking for it until today - but there still is no make package in the openpandora feed, did you put it somewhere else?

Code:
# sudo opkg update
Downloading http://openpandora.org/feeds/unstable/all/Packages.gz.
...
Updated list of available packages in /var/lib/opkg/pandora-omap3-pandora.
# sudo opkg install make
Installing make (3.81-r0.5) to root...
Downloading http://openpandora.org/feeds/unstable/armv7a/make_3.81-r0.5_armv7a.ipk.
Configuring make.
