Has anyone tried the Micro Python? This is a kickstarter project combo of a controller board and

Python as programmng language. Seems very nice. See www.micropython.org

pretty cool, hadn't heard of it before. Maybe I'll get one for playing around.

There seems to be quite a few new mini sbc's popping up, and I've been looking into them for a project at work. Was thinking of creating a thread with a list of them, and maybe buying a couple of different ones to play with (though I have a Teensy and two RaspPi's sat on my desk at home doing nothing...)

It'd be nice to be able to generate ARM code that way using a full-sized Python interpreter.  I guess that should be possible to knock up relatively rapidly though.  Having a high-level language handy to generate lookup tables and the likes is always good for keeping everything self-contained.
