Hi Folks,

I have just added MAME GP32 to the compatibility lists, I need someones help though.
Does anyone have a list of games that work/fail on MAME GP32? If so please let me know.

Users of the site can obviously add the games to the lists themselves.

TTFN,
Clare.

I can give you a list of games that are "available" for Mame, but I can't tell you which ones work well and which ones don't.

Hi there,

Yes the list will be fine, The community can update the games status on the database when they get tested.

Can you Email me the list to clare@berzerk.co.uk

Thanks :)

Clare.

You should have a new email.

Thanks for adding the support matrix Clare, it's a very useful site (it would be even better if more people contributed, come on everyone).

Hi there,

Okay the list has been imported, All I need now is for the community to set the game status's.

Ta Ta For Now,
Clare.

Hi Claire,

What about getting a php/gd script to generate an image with some broad stats about your site (number of games, number of systems, number of votes, number of votes in last 24hours) and run it on a cron script, and then link it from your sig? That way people can see some stats and be reminded of the site and what its about when they see your sig.

If you need a hand, give me a yell :)

Good Idea, I might just do that :).

Here is an example. Do you want the PS file?

compat_list.jpg

EDIT: I'll email it to you anyway, just in case you want to use [some of] it.

Hi there,

Thanks for this, I have now added it to my sig and coded it on the site.

HUGS,
Clare.

Great stuff Clare :). How often does it update?

p.s. You can put a [ url] tag around the [ img] in your sig, so people can just click your image :). [ url=http :/ /www.berzerk .co.uk/ gp32] [ img] compat_list.jpg[/img] [/ url]

Please ignore the erronious spaces to mislead the forum text parser.

It should update anytime someone adds a game or rates a game using the star system! I hope :)

Hey, much better idea than updating with cron - good idea. See my edited post above for update to sig...

Yep, I have now done the URL thing with the image instead of having a link! :)

Hey it works :) Two more games star-rated for MAME since last time.
Could you do a 'last updated' time on the red strip bottom left?

Done :)
