Sounds like a dummies question but how,
ive got it installed and the nano quake3 works (the other one doesnt) but I cant really seem to move
the right nub seems to move forward when i press up instead of looking up and same with back and the right nub has a mind of its own to what it does , in the menus the right and left one are fine, I cant seem to map them in the settings,
what am i doing wrong?

nubs cant be mapped to anything, dont use the left nub for now it has known issues I need to investigate.

the only thing you can do is lower the mouse speed in the controls and it might give you more control. Also make sure youve moved the nubs around a bit to get them calibrated.
it sounds like freelook is off, but i dont recall if q3 had that option.

Calibrate on power up (ie: center your nubs, power on, and then move the nubs around.) that helps let the system know their extremes.

Turn mouse speed down a bit, it really helped me..

Can't go too low or you can't turn around fast enough :) It takes trial and error.

I play using dpad + right-nub for look, works pretty well; I managed to beat a few levels! :)

aha... didn't know you could use the DPAD... everytime I tried I must have always used the left nub and messed everything up from there as the DPAD didn't respond...
