New Stuff since 2/06/04 version
--------------------------------

Cursor can move to the next bar or previous bar if it exists.
Load sample function jumps to the first empty sample bank.
Audition sample in load sample menu.
Clear bank in sample bank details menu + new menu option:
Options>Clear Options to clear the song data, all banks or both at once.
Load/Save now 100%(I think ;))*
Lots of little fixes to stop nasty things happening..
CHN's audio code now included, although not yet used.(getting there ;))

*Just try not to select "." or ".." when loading a sample, you can clear the banks now in the sample details menu but it's still a pain in the arse. I'm doing everything I can to remove these from the file list :/

:D

hi...loved the last version...can't wait to try this one....
this is a list of thing i would like to see in future version's.....
would it be possible to include mp3 and wave sample's so i could make my own beats and stuff....
and maybee a tempo changer...i like my beat's at about 160bpm....
and a better looking interface.....
i'm sure your working on these allready...knowing my luck, you've allready done them.

cheer's for this great peice of software...and keep up your good work.

Thanks for checking it out guys :)

to shotaway:
If I understand you correctly, yes you can already use any sample you like.
You need to export it from your audio editor as a binary file - .raw or .bin
The options you get seem to depend on your audio editor, in sound forge I select:
little endian byte order
unsigned format
and mono/stereo 8/16 bit depending on the source.

I hope that's enough to get you going. if not email me any samples you want to have converted and I can do it for you. I will add proper wav support later, for now I just want to concentrate on getting some real audio code happening. Lots of learning to do...
oh, and you can change the tempo, read the doc in the full .zip package, I forget the controls, hold b and left and right I think

This is fantastic! I have a question, though. How much CPU does a typical song take up? The reason I am asking is perhaps the playback could be integrated into Pirotic's Gigas Engine to do in-game music. I don't know how you would feel about collaborating with him, just a thought.
