Exactly. Every somewhat reliable tech news site reported months ago that Mozilla was going to do a version sprint because they thought the noob users might think FF was inferior compared to other browsers just because of the lower version number. And why the hell does Mozilla throw out one Major Number after another? Are they in a hurry or what? I'm sure, under normal circumstances, we would be still at Firefox 5.7 or something like this but it seems, mozilla wants to reach the IE and Opera Version numbers for whatever reason. ^^

From reading around, it appears to have something to do with the permissions on the /pandora/appdata/hdonk_firefox_001/.mozilla files. Can someone who has this problem post the output of 'ls -la' on that directory and the firefox subdir please.
Lol, that's so stupid. Most Users are no idiots and for me as "experienced" user, the huge Version Number Jumps of Firefox are more confusing than a normal Number increase would be. For me, the first Version Number is a major branch Number and unless something major change, it should be kept.Exactly. This would explain the problems. I thought hdonk has no Pandora but he really has one. Just with hte "wrong" File System I guess. ^^""From reading around, it appears to have something to do with the permissions on the /pandora/appdata/hdonk_firefox_001/.mozilla files. Are you using an ext2 card?
Most people use FAT32, and I know FireFox doesn't like FAT32 much on Linux.
