How do I change the CPU speed presets in the notification area? Example: Custom, 500Mhz, 800Mhz, 1000Mhz, 1100Mhz, 1200Mhz

Create the file: .config-button/cpu-speed.conf inside your home directory.

Inside this file, write *exactly* 5 lines, each containing the number you want instead.
Example:

900
1000
1100
1150
1200
Save. Either re-log or run "configbutton" from XFCE-menu -> run

Create the file: .config-button/cpu-speed.conf inside your home directory.
Not too Linux savvy, this has me a little confused. inside /home/ there are only two directories, "username" & "root". Can't create a directory with "." in the name.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

/home/<username>/ is your home directory.

All files and directories starting with "." are hidden. Press ctrl-h to see it when you create the directory.

Oh man, I feel dumb. Forgot about hidden directories.

Thank you, got the cpu presets the way I like. And thank you for configtray, glad it got implemented into the firmware.
