Thinking Dropbox might be a good method of achieving this, though never used it yet myself.

Objective is to get photos taken on my Android phone to appear onto my Android tablet, as if by magic.

Ideally a fully automatic process, or few clicks as possible.

Don't want to have to connect the devices to a PC though, as might as well then simply drag/drop.

Looking for this to happen over the air.

Any recommendations please, does Dropbox do this - from Android device to device - or is that only from Android device to PC?

If you have Google+ check your Google Sync service you'll find an option to sync your gallery to your Google Photos in +. Any Android device that is connected to that Google+ account will have a new gallery folder titled "Uploaded content" that is synced between those devices automatically.

Ok thanks guys, looks like the Google+ option is best then for this

If you leik freedums, you can setup an FTP server and write your own Android apps to automatically upload and download the pictures across your devices.

Cheers, nothing sensitive really though so no problem using G+ or such services. Will go for the quick n easy option
