Daedalus Dc

Gah franxis... you shouldn't have posted this. We are not prepared for another onslaught of idiots going "port this plz!!1!!"... Does the DC have an fpu? Also the gp2x doesn't even have a 3D accelerator so why even bother? Cool to see that someone took a shot at it for the dreamcast though. Pretty much proof of concept but still interesting.

PORT THIS PLEASE!

Actually, it's interesting to see how well this is running.

As you say if this version is running without DC's 3D hardware or Daedalus' dyna-rec it's pretty amazing.

You would have to start wondering if a GP2X version is actually possible?

Ermm, well according to the post it is making full use of the DC's Tile Accelerator to boost speed. The GP2X does not have one, soooo.

I'm not a huge fan of N64 and I definitely don't really care if N64 ever makes it on the Gp2x. However since this is running now on the DC (which is surpisingly amazing) couldn't this be ported to the Pandora? Well that is if it is using a gpu, and since Pandora uses the PowerVR (same as DC) it seems like a nice start. Just saying.

Good point. Plus the Pandora CPU will have an advantage over the DC CPU. Heaps more ram to burn (if you don't count that Pandora has no dedicated VRAM.) So it looks positive for Pandora.

But this is a GP2X suggestion thread.

it's not good idea to port this to gp2x, if you look psx emulator on gp2x it can't emulate that properly how can it emulate dc it's a big joke if only the gp2x f-200 was more powerful, we need another gph console to release more powerful emulators.

Daedalus is a N64 emulator not a Dreamcast emulator.
