Broken Caanoo Charge Cable

Hello.

The USB charge cable for my Caanoo broke. Normally, I would try to fix it myself, but it's the proprietary end that plugs into the Caanoo itself that broke. As such, I have no way to charge my Caanoo (Fun fact, I tried splicing two USB cables together hoping it would charge through the Caanoo's USB port, no dice). I've searched these forums, and if someone else asked this, I missed it, but I need to know where I can get a replacement charge cable. PLay-asia doesn't have it, Gamesuave only has one for the Wiz (and even if it does work with the Caanoo, which I doubt, they're out right now anyway), and I've failed to find one anywhere else.

My apologies for my ineptitude, but does anyone know where I can get a replacement charge cable?

You should be able to make one yourself fairly easily if you have basic soldering skills. Here's a link on how to make a TV-OUT cable that details out the entire pin-out for the connector port.

Looks like you can solder a +5V source to Pin #16 and the ground to Pin #19 and you should be in business.

Here's the link to a source for the connector pin. I just bought some last month and these work great (after a couple of misfires with eBay for similar products).

Good luck!
