ok I know the game got bad reviews but all of them did and I have enjoyed every AC game I have played except for the ones on PSP (major play control problems )

So 5 is all about co-op and I dont know anyone who has this ? if anyone has or is thinking of getting this game let me know if you want to play . it is a great game and co-op will only make it better :)

:) :)

I think I've only played one from this series, an early one, do like flying around as a mech though.

What system you got/getting this on? I might only have PS3 online, 360 needs renewal and I'm in no hurry to

Oh yeah Sorry I forgot to mention that, I have it for PS3.

Check it out if your interested. Don't let the negative reviews through you it is a pretty good game if you know what your getting.

The basic way the game works is you create a team and can play every mission (i have found so far) together when we are both online at the same time and when we are not we can still make progress and help the team out. Some of the missions are really a lot of fun and would be amazing to play co-op

There are things in the game that are horrible for sure but easy enough to ignore and if you are into blowing things up and being a huge robot this is about as good as it gets.

Not too shabby, contrast to what most the comments on YT are, not that the comments of YT aren't riddled with hate anyway 9/10 times

I'll most likely pick this up then end of next week when I'm paid, I'll let you know my PSN ID

Oh, boy, never thought of I can meet a armored core fan here!

I have all three games - 4, 4a, 5 - and they are all brilliant. My only complaint is that they changed the control in 5!

I keep thinking about buying it because I'm a mech fan, but I think it's going to be too arcadey for me. I was really into the Mechwarrior series and Heavy Gear on the PC but there hasn't been anything like them since, sure there have been mech games but they haven't felt right to me, I want to feel like I'm controlling a lumbering war machine rather than a Manga cartoon on roller skates.

sugar: I have not actually played Mechwarrior, but have seen them played. I think ACV will be faster but you can just build and play as a heavy tank build and slow it down a bit. AC 4 and 4A were fast and I love your Manga cartoon on skates expression ACV is much slower by comparison and a lot of the flying from the last 2 games is gone. it might not be exactly what you want but I think you will find something to enjoy, only problem is that it takes a bit to learn . if you get the game for PS3 I would be happy to meet you in game and give you a hand if you need/want help.

Sony: I really like the front mission games too, I did feel pretty let down with front mission evolved, it was a good idea but just a bit off, I have not played it in a while so I dont remember the specifics but something just didn't jive with me. FM4 was and is one of my favorite games on the PS2. I think i am on my thrid play through.
