Hello everyone,

I'm very new to the whole gp scene. I just ordered a gp2x wiz and was wondering if there is any accessory that would let me play/charge the unit in a standard wall outlet ... like an ac adapter; rather than having to have a PC to plug it into.

Also as a follow-up question, will this: http://tinyurl.com/lcmwl8
work with the gp2x wiz, or is it exclusive to the gp2x f200?

Thanks to anyone who can offer me some of their expertise on these questions.

I use a off brand ipod charger adapter and it works great i think any will work so dont worry

You can get a Samsung E810 charger and a hobby knife for the cost of a few beers that will get the job done, or just get a ac adaptor which gives you usb power (eg. for ipods) and use that.

(hobbyknife is required to modify the connector slightly, as it has slightly different bumps then the official wiz connector)

Got my Wiz on order and a mains charger is a must for me.

Would this do the job?
QUOTE
output current : 150mA-1000mA, output voltage : 5V

Have no idea about voltages etc, am I safe using this?

Thanks in advance for help!

your link doesn't make sense, but yes, the Wiz can be charged via USB, so an A/C -> USB power brick will do the job nicely.

Thanks for the info, it was the voltages that had me worried.
Fixed the link, wasn't used to the drop down menu and it came out as a post link not url.
