    Saving nub configurations??

When I first got the Pandora I could save multiple configs for the nubs in the Pandora nub configurator. I don't seem to be able to do it any more as the buttons that I need are all greyed out. Anybody got any ideas as to how I can enable them again?

    Shutting down Android tablet?

Getting a cheap Android tablet for xmas to keep me on until my Pandora gets shipped. It arrived today and I give it a quick run through to make sure everything worked and noticed what I presume to be a problem?? When I shut it down (not put it in standby) the backlight seems to stay on...

    Nokia N800

Anyone know where I can get hold of the latest firmware and flashing utility to sort out my N800? I need the RX-34_DIABLO_5.2008.43-7_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin file but all the links on the Nokia site seem to be blown :( EDIT: Never mind. I managed to find a new link here! EDIT2: Now I need...

    Anyone fancy a new project?

I came up with this idea about 5-6 years ago when the idea of the Pandora was just getting started. While most people were thinking about the games that they could play on the Pandora, I was thinking about how I could use the Pandora to improve my PC gaming experience. I quickly realised that...

    Winelib now supports the ARM.

Winelib now supports the ARM platform. Anyone know of how it supports it exactly? I seriously doubt it support X86 software to run on ARM hardware but I would love to be proved wrong :)

    Tethering PayAsGo via USB

Just got my desktop PC running Linux Mint to connect to the Internet through my pretty crappy Nokia 6500 Slide mobile phone and thought I'd put the settings on here in case they're useful for anyone else :) (I have a pay as you go contract that gives me free unlimited text and Internet for...

    Mozilla getting into gaming

Interesting news that should improve the chances of on-line games becoming playable on the Pandora :) I'd love to see Quake Live become compatible with all the new on-line technology that are starting to appear. Yes I know that we have the original Quake, but Quake Live has better team...

    You Tube Through Vlc

Any body tried watching YouTube videos with VLC player yet? I'm assuming that this uses VLC's own codec for playing the streams and we won't need Flash actually installed on the Pandora itself. Works great on the PC in my parents living room and that always struggles with anything Flash...

    Preload On Pandora?

With the Pandora being on most of the time and programs being shut down + started up a lot, I wondered if something like Preload would be useful? I've used it on my laptop and it seems to work well. With the laptop having enough power I tend just to leave stuff open anyway though so it doesn't...

    101 Linux Hacks

Came across this today and thought it might be quite useful for those Pandora users that are only just starting out with Linux. It's all command line and not tied to any specific distro + there seems to be quite a few answers for the most commonly asked questions by new Linux users.. QUOTE...

I've been hearing a lot about Adeona recently and it sounds great. Pandora Dns On The Pandora?

I use OpenDNS on all the computers in my house and benefit from the speed increase greatly. Sky broadband really does suck.. big time  The Nokia tablets don't handle DNS too well currently. You can assign a new address to each different Wifi connection that you set up and save, but...

    Escape From Colditz

Escape from Colditz is a game devised by successful escaper Pat Reid, based on the former POW camp at Colditz Castle in Germany during World War II. Just wondering if anyone would be interested in making a decent version of this board game for the GP2X? As far as I'm aware, there has never been...

    Einstein Puzzle

Not too sure if this has been posted before (or in the archives already?), but I run across it today & figured that it would be a fairly easy port for someone to cut their teeth on :) Einstein Puzzle is a free cross-platform open source remake of old DOS game Sherlock, which was inspired by...

    Wind&water Manual To Download..

Hi all, I've spent a little time this week putting together a mini manual to be used with gmenu2x for Yuan-Works Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles. It's not quite finished yet as the fonts a bit crap & needs some more work, but I thought I'd post it to show you all & get feedback about anything...

Need To Build A Serial Cable For Unbricking..

I found this on ebay & thought that it would be easier to modify, than completely build one up myself from scratch. Is this the right one to buy? I just wanted to make sure, before I go ahead & spend money that I really can't afford at the moment. Or alternatively.. is there anybody living...

    Pimping The Manuals :)

For anyone that doesn't already know.. Ryo added to Gmenu2x the ability to display 3 different types of manuals: 1) Graphic Manuals (made with .png files). These are the most professional looking but involve the most work to make. Best kept for completed projects that won't need to be updated...
