I agree because having 11 choices gives people the freedom to pick their ideal layout but there are tons of permutations where a person might have loved a layout that only received 2.5% of the vote but absolutely hated one of the other top choices but was "ok" with another top...
I think that it is very unfortunate that there are 11 layouts in the final poll. If the lowest 6-7 of them were eliminated then it would give a much better impression of what people are willing to live with rather than their ideal layout. As I'm counting now 27% of the voters had their vote...
I think that proper Wayland support is essential for Pyra for making a smooth desktop experience. One year from now Wayland will graduate to being solid and ready for all desktop use cases with XWayland support for a fallback. It would be a real shame to be stuck with a GPU driver that would...
I'm not saying that the Pyra should specifically use the nVidia chip but that apparently it is very possible to have the other stuff (not in the SOC) fully support 32 and 64 bit CPUs. I don't know if special consideration needs to be paid to this or if it can somehow just work out magically...
Is there any chance that the upgrade CPU could be 64 bit a year or two after the launch? I noticed that nVidia's new K1 CPU comes in a 4 core 32 bit and a 2 core 64 bit variety. I'm thinking that two years from now would be a great time to go 64 bit.
Also how would this work with port support...
Maybe the smaller buttons could bet set as alt and ctrl by default. In particular I'm very interested to be able to have access to a Tab and ` character for being able to efficiently use Canonical's Unity DE. People in the Debian camp have been working on supporting Unity since 14.04 when they...

Can this be used for Pyra?
I would absolutely love to be able to run x86 DoomRL on the Pyra.

Please look into this and consider the dimensions for a future upgrade.
Don't be shy, well I can't take it back. People are very interested in your dissasembler and there is some interest to get this running on the RPi. Look there was no way that this was going to remain hidden for long but I do agree that it could have been better if the Pyra was a bit further...
I did my part to get the story on reddit linux and linux_gaming. The stories took off pretty well. I called notaz a super genius in the title and a few people explained that he is only very intelliegent and mostly it is just a shit ton of work. Also I learned that OpenTTD was ported in a...
Of course it will. However I'm referring to Blizzard possibly offering a new minor version to work around say a Windows 9 incompatibility. It would be nice to know that notaz could offer an updated version without doing all of the work over again.
For once EvilDragon news is a big MEH when compared to notaz's astounding Starcraft work. I was thinking what is so important about this notaz guy in the x86/ARM conversation but now I'm a believer. Keep this guy happy.
Look if we have a tiny e-ink display on the front of the device then it can display the button configuration. Then we can use Ancient Chinese numbers, or Greek for all that I care. +1 use for e-ink.
I'll bow out of this conversation since I'm obviously pretty masterful. I'd just hope that someone who can't manage an SD card with their off hand isn't trying to play any sort of old-school ultra difficult Japanese made Nintendo games. Some of those games make SD card insertion seem trivial...
That would be amazing if it could replace leds. It could also show wifi strength as well. So many uses.
I don't really like the permanent LED for the 3g chip, although I don't have a better solution.
