Durham station is about a 15 min train ride from Newcastle if that. And the trains come often as it's on the main line from Scotland to London.
I don't know how to get the from the ferry port to the Newcastle station but I'm sure there is a bus or metro link.

If dos box is anything to go by I don't think we will be playing old dos games on our gp32 any time soon if ever.

The only thing worse than an Ati\Nvidia fanboy has to be a Linux fanboy.
Do you know how many people you turn...
Newb question, what was the PCE. I know it was a 16 bit console of some kind but thats all. What good games did it have? and where they in english.
Thanks
If thats the type of games your looking for then I don't think the gp32 is your best best. The gp32 is mainly aimed at people who like to play retro games on the move using homebrew or emulators. Your not going to be playing much above the 16 bit era of games ie snes/megadrive.
Its a great bit...
The light off option is getting on my tits and has made Earthworm Jim 2 (megadrive) almost unplayable as the select button feels perfect for his gun.
Why they couldn't have had it as a combination of buttons is beyond me , Say a+b+r .
Keep up the good work and release it when your good and ready.
As for this, "soon isn't good enough. the source must be released with the binary or its an illegal distribution.
i'll check again in a few days, if there is no source the hosting company will be contacted and a request will be...
If your after emulation of 16 bit and down consoles and homebrew then yes it is worth getting. If you want new pro games then no get a ds or psp.
Even if the gp32 comunity died which im sure it won't look at the dreamcast you will still have all the great games and emulators that are out now to...

From the site:
"Grand Theftendo is a remake of Grand Theft Auto III for the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It is Grand Theft Auto III running on an 8 bit, 256x240 resolution, 2 bit colour...
Getting a write up in a big pc gaming mag would boost gp32 sales a lot.
If it wasnt for a small artical in pczone(uk) a while back I wouldn't have a clue what a gp32 was let alone own one.
I had to use my blu a few days ago when the power went and I had to find the fuse box.
My real flashlight was down stairs at the time and all I had to hand was my trusty gp32_console
