I could reproduce the behaviour : just after DirectX 5.0 installation videos are smooth, after restart it's not.
I had a look to the IDE drivers. I'm using "Intel® 82371SB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller". I tried the standard driver and got a blue screen at reboot. I then tried another driver...
So I tried again Dune2000 without CD, videos are running from disk. I confirm it makes a big difference, no more lags on videos !!
I'm so happy I can play Dune 2000 smoothly on my Pandora :)
EDIT : after w95 shutdown+restart video is laggy again  I can't understand why, I'm sure...
Hi, I really appreciate to run Warcarft2 BNE edition and Dune2000 in Qemu/win95. However the videos are too slow, overclocking my Ghz pandora didn't help.
I think the CD-ROM emulation is too slow, am I right ? Do you have any tips ?
EDIT: It seems I found a way to play without CD on...
Just tried on my Ghz Pandora. Video animations are too slow, sound interrupts all the time. But the game itself runs fine (just did the first mission).
cdemu seems to be a good candidate. However, I can't find an option in Qemu to mount a real cd-rom drive. The option exists in qemu manager for Windows, but apparently not in pandora version.
I have an issue though. It seems qemu can't emulate multitrack cd-rom. For example I have a game CD (LBA) which has game data on the first track, and then some music tracks.
Problem is, we can't rip multitrack into ISO format. Is there a way to make an iso with audio tracks ? Or to make qemu...
I got my Pandora some days ago and can't stop playing with qemu, it's sooo nice :) I'm installing my good old DOS and Windows 95 games. Many thanks to the developpers, it's awesome !
Psi)(PDA is just a rebrand of an existing Chinese UMPC EKing that doesn't sell well in China. Moreover the bundled XP license is ILLEGAL as it was originally licensed to Lenovo! This is just a cheap knock-off ...
