I searched back through the forum about kdrive but found little concrete info about it so here are my questions
which version of the xserver is being used?
will it support composite? (not sure over this one it seems composite was originally implemented in kdrive... but it also might not...

As you can see at the above link the caster developer is intrested in the pandora and may do a port himself if he deems if profitable enough or is willing to let someone else help on the port as well.
from what I have read so far Caster uses...
from what i hear they have cut mem useage in half (it was already good) and have added tabed browsing!

I can't really be sure that you guys aren't refering to squashfs files when you say cramfs either...
how about a karaoke game ... we do need some kind of game to use the mic with :-)

of course you can add applets to the panel for a clock monitors desktop switchers etc...
programs minimise as icons on the desktop which would be pretty neat on a handheld also i think shortcuts can be setup for key...

here is the demo you can try out in firefox... i think it only works in firefox 3 or a gecko 1.9 based browser but im not sure.... looks pretty neat the demo is pretty rough though kinda like the MK0 photos we are getting ;-)

So how about haveing boinc installed as the default screensaver? or as a package also debian has a boinc package for arm so i guess we are set :-). just imageing team pandora 3000+ pandoras charging at night and runing boinc would be an impressive amount of cpu power

I doubt the pandora could handle this in it's flash form since it is pretty slow on a sempron 3100+ although it could be that linux flash support is just crap anyway seems it ran slow on XP too though...
Well, as far as I know it hasn't been decided what gui Pandora will use be it GTK QT or even FLTK but a discussion about theming might be a good thing to start...
