    Mame Gp32 1.9 !!!

Do you rename MameGP32.fxe? (i.e MameGP32 1.9.fxe). I had this problem also untill I kept the original filename. :)

Mame Gp32 With Drz80 First Tests Ok!

Sounds exciting :D. Can you explain more? Could this be Mame GP32 1.9 or maybe your secret project? Great news about the latest updates and looking forward to Mame GP32 1.9. :)

    Fat16

If you have got access to a Windows 2000 computer then use that to format your SMC. I made the same mistake by formatting in XP (same errors) but 2000 sorted me out. :)

    Download Mame Gp32 1.8 !

Uh-oh. What Happened To My Romset?

It could be an SMC issue. I had a similar problem with TMGP. Didn't matter how many times I re-created the folders, copied files, downloaded package again, it just wouldn't work (various errors). As soon as I copied to another SMC, all my problems were resolved. It was strange as all my other...

    Batteries

I read over at www.gpx2.com that the new console won't have rechargable batteries (posted by a user). Does this refer to the built-in battery (square type, can't remember the name) or rechargable AA's. If I remember correctly, standard AA's use 1.5v where as rechargables use 1.2v. I do hope that...

Can Anyone Recommend Some Must Play Mame Games?

Give RomCenter a try. It does roughy the same as ClrMamePro but is easier to use. You can even use the dat file supplied with Mame GP32. :)

    Exiting Games

Problem sorted :D. I feel such a fool . I have a habit of changing the names of fxe's. In this case, I had renamed to MameGP32 1.5.fxe. Point 4 (Installation) of the readme jogged my memory . :)

    Exiting Games

I'm sure they are. I copied the structure from the Mame GP32 zip onto my SMC. All the games play just fine. :)

    Exiting Games

I'm using the standard one that came with the GP32. When you start the GP32, it displays "Play" and "PC Link". :)

    Exiting Games

How odd . Every time I select "b" (to go back), my GP32 always resets (for every game I've played). I thought this was how it was supposed to work. I have a BLU+ if that makes any difference. :)

    Exiting Games

You can't in Mame GP32 1.5. Pressing L+R brings you back to the settings menu again and you have to press "b" to go back (reset GP32). Pressing L+R at this stage has no effect. :)

    Mame Wish List

This would be nice idea like in Rlyeh's emulators. This would give us a rough idea how close or perfect emulation is for a particular game. I guess adding this would lessen the emulation slightly but an option to turn on and off would be cool. :)

    Exiting Games

Now that all games are accessible from one list, I've noticed that you have to reset the GP32 each time in order to play another game where as before you just returned to the list (for that particular make of game, i.e Atari.fxe). Is it possibly to do this for all games? I would guess not as it...

    Can't Connect To Pc!

What error are you getting? Btw, you will probably be better off using a usb card reader to transfer your files. They are so handy to have :D. :) Edit: You beat me to it fitzsteve .

    Mame Wish List

Something that may be usefull is an option to delete games within Mame GP32. I like to throw alot of roms onto my SMC but occasionaly find that some don't work or the gameplay in some games is just too slow. When this occurs, I have to pull my SMC out and insert into my card reader to...

Are these the blocks that rotate, eventually sending you to the depths... . If so,I'm stuck there too . :)

    Littlejohn Nes Question

Try running GPEngine at 166MHz. If it crashes then you may have a lower spec GP32. You can also run the clock speed tester but make sure you get the BLU+ version and enjoy the magical music :D. :)

    Dust Problem

Maybe I should spray some insecticide though the front speakers. That would sure get the pesky critter but probably mess up my screen in doing so  :)
