There is another big issue that I like to bring up.
This time it's about the TV-OUT.
My setup is as follow:
F100 MkII with BoB and 2 usb joysticks connected connect to my TV.
1. When I switch to TVout when in de gp2x settings menu, the image appears on my TV properly.
Then, when I start...
I've got an additional question about vice2x.
I think the sound volume is very low.
Especially when sitting at quite a distance when playing with joysticks on the BoB.
I tried to increase the volume before launching vice2x but with no luck.
Any ideas how to increase the sound volume?
Thanks...
This is a great job.
For the firs time USB joystick work on the gp2x with vice2x.
The only problem I have is that for some reason vice2x can't handle 2 usb joysticks.
It only works when one player is using the joypad of the gp2x and the other player uses the usb joystick.
This is not a nice way...
@GnoStiC,
Apparently viceteam.org went straight to 2.00
Could you please give it a try for the gp2x?
I really like to have the USB joysticks working.
Thanks in advance
@gnostic,
Waiting for 1.23 takes really long.
Maybe you can provide us a release candidate for us to play with.
For me the biggest issue is the usb-joystick support.
Any progress on this project?
I'm really looking for joystick support as you can read here: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=40660
Please advice
thanks in advance
Thank you for the binary.
However, I can't get it to work.
I am aware of the gameport selection.
When I start this new x64 binary the screen goes black for about half a minute and then it crashes/closes the emu and I'm back in de gp2x desktop.
THis happens when I start x64 while the gp2x is...
Thanks for your hints.
Of course I activated USB host function (forgot to mention).
The joystick appears to work fine with mame.
Now the challenge is to make shore the joystick works for the emus I mentioned earlier.
I can load joydev manually using '/sbin/insmod joydev' using sterm.
I also...
Hi,
I bought this joypad:
http://www.thrustmaster.com/product.aspx?ProductID=26
I choose this one because it comes with no CD (so no drivers) and it's supposed to be plug-and-play.
However, it turns out to be plug-and-pray.... none of the emus I use (vice2x, neogeo and amiga) work with this...
right.
I realize now that quake2 is bit too much to ask to play on a gp2x.
Duke3d runs fine, so still got a nice FPS oldie to play.
But how about command an conquer (please see the first post).
Any recommendations on that?
yeah you're right, I realize that now.
But it's terrible slow, so I thought to change the videosettings to a lower resolution.
However, when I select video settings in the configmenu, the game hangs......
anymore hints?
