The NTSC version definitely works, but I had to switch to BIOS mode.... locked up under HLE. I haven't played it too much, but I was able to race as Crash on the track "Crash Cove" with no problems.

Looks like a cool game. Have you played around with all the built-in gpu fixes to see if they make any difference? (I didn't have much time to experiment).

Is Jackie Chan a good game? I've never seen/played it. (not entirely true, I've now seen the developer splash screen and heard some of the sound effects. ;)

    Sd Card Speed Question

I didn't actually go looking for a fast SD card, it just happened to be the one that was on sale. That being said, I like it because it doesn't take a zillion years to copy isos to it from my PC. :)

Hmmm.... pitfall 3D worked for me with the default gpu plugin (non-built-in). The only thing I've been tinkering with is switching between HLE and BIOS.

Same for me, I've set disabling CD and XA audio as the global default... seems to make everything run better. I'm very pleased with the compatibility of this emulator - it's played most games I've thrown at it. Here's some of the games I've tried that worked well: Ace Combat 2 Batman Forever...

Thanks. Hadn't thought of that. How is the performance with frameskip off?

    Sd Card Speed Question

I just picked up a 32GB class 10 for $44CDN. If your plan is to play Playstation games, I'd suggest you get either a 16 or 32GB... anything smaller will get full really quickly.

I'm actually wondering the same thing about button mapping. I tried playing Spiderman, and discovered I couldn't get him to sling a web and swing because R2 was unmapped. I tried mapping it to "II" (select) and also to the analog-stick button, but I found "select" a little awkward to use, and...

I would imagine the SD card speed would make a difference in terms of loading times, but I wouldn't suspect it would impact in-game performance, unless stuff is streaming... I get fuzzy colours on loading too. Button binding can be done already, it's in the controls menu.

I'll have to give it a whirl. I tried Dino Crisis 2, but there were some graphical glitches (blinking characters).

No progress at all unfortunately... negative progress actually. The external drive my Ubuntu development VM is on started acting a bit flaky recently and my VM image seems to have been corrupted. I bought a new drive today, and re-installed Ubuntu this morning, but I still need to re-install the...

    Diablo Pcsx4All Problems

If you haven't already, I'd suggest you download "pcsx rearmed" (there's a thread for it in this section). It has much improved psx compatibility, and the performance is superior as well.

For anyone trying to get a speed boost for certain games, make sure you play with disabling XA and CD audio... seems to make a big difference sometimes. By the way, Spiderman 1 and 2 both work great! (but you have to do some key-binding, as web slinging is assigned to R2 by default)
