i am no software engineer but i share your opinion. bending the limits of a machine and achieving something awesome is what it is about.
i mean we have a gameboy emulator, which is great! BUT nobody ever thought that we wouldn't see one on the gp2x.

judging by the latest 'benchmarks' from dual core enabled picodrive and other programs, i must say the second processor is everything but useless! its hard to get around its limitations but once you get around it, you can see a very nice speed boost!

eh... antoher thing: i dunno if its just me but super mario kart doesn't save for me. every other game does. it doesn't save normally (the cups you've won i mean btw) and it doesn't accept...
in the nds version of mario kart its hard to tell whos the best driver because of the items. the items in mario kart games gained more and more importance with every sequel. the real skill mario kart game is the first one.

yea actually there is no real slide thing in super mario kart and mario kart: super circuit for the gba. it was only used i the n64, gamecube and nds version.
puck your english is great as is the attempt to use the second core for sound processing.
on topic: i remember squidge mentioned squidge snes special edition (i think he put it like that) with second core being used (for sound i assume)
