    Pandora on Slashgear

Thanks for the reply ED. From what I've read of Ari64's testing, and your previous comments, as well as those of other informed people, there won't be much difference. However, if your supply of OMAP3530s is going to run out, I would be interested to know, if even on just cost grounds, you plan...

    Pandora on Slashgear

ED, do you think you'll switch to the DM3730 when these 2000 chips are used up, based on cost grounds, as well as the possible performance benefits? This seems relevant to me, as a late 2009 preorderer who may not see my unit until the next 2k+ units are shipped from Germany. Thanks.

    How free is the OpenPandora?

I think this is relevant and quite interesting, Karen Sandler and free software on medical devices - https://www.youtube.com/embed/GcWlD2Y6HNM?feature=oembed

Donating my Pandora to Waitlisted Developer

    Such a shame Ari64 doesn't have one, I think he'd be a great candidate.

Order info - been away a long time

I asked ED about estimates on fulfilling all the original preorders. He thinks that about 2000-3000 units will have to ship in order to provide enough profit to fulfil these old orders. He estimates it may take 2 - 4 months.

Lol - Banned From Openpandora Forums

Hi ED, Applaud the work you've done already and that your business plan means the future of the Pandora is more secure. I look forward to the first Pandoras coming off the German production line in the not too distant future. However, as a first batch preorderer I am interested in the details...

    Release Uplink

Excellent. Thanks lunixbochs for your porting efforts and Introversion for allowing the release of this with the game data even (I got it in the HumbleBundle and also have a physical disc).

    Release Firefox 9.0 in repo

    100% success! (2011-12-24)

Congratulations on orchestrating everything EvilDragon, again the Open Pandora has surmounted unexpected issues. I'm happy with the extra RAM, and think the upgrade program balances it out in fairness. Having second-hand Pandoras is a good idea, as it makes them available at a lower price point...

Consolidation of Batch 2 Production Status

I would like some clarification on this topic, for the remaining preorders in total.

    Release Uplink port!

Brilliant work, never though this would happen on Pandora, I tell you. Hope Introversion get in touch soon, it did sound encouraging.

    Humble Introversion Bundle Source Available

Awesome progress, and great to see a mention for these Pandora ports from the devs themselves -- hopefully that bodes well.

400 apps on the repo :)

Have to give a massive thank you to you milkshake, as well as all the developers working on Pandora software. I may not have my Pandora yet, but I constantly marvel at the dedication and ingenuity of the community. Thank you.

    Humble Introversion Bundle Source Available

This is great news on the source release from Introversion. I would love to see Pandora ports (I don't know how restrictive the license is). I'm sure getting in touch with Introversion would be the best thing. Can't see them wanting to port to Pandora themselves, but they might like the ability...

    Everything still going smooth? (2011-11-18)

Got to get receive my Pandora before I can use the TV-out cables, so no big loss for me. Glad the rest seems on track. Very odd from the cable company, "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY" comes to mind. At least they were honest about it, and didn't just take the money and fail to produce! Glad things...

    Way to go! (2011 - 10 - 19)

ED, that's really great news about the investment. As a first batch preorderer, in the business plan what is the ratio of first batch to premiums and new orders please? Just wondering how many of those initial 1000 produced in Germany, will go to fulfilling old orders, as I know you've mentioned...
