Guess What? A Port Of Gpsp (gba) To The Gp2x...

I looked at this a couple of weeks ago. You might find it crashes when running a ROM because it tries to use paging when it shouldn't need to (when the rom size is under the paging limit). It's a bit bizarre, as things run fine on the G*zm*nd*. I never really investigated on the GP2X past...

    Uae4allgp2x 0.6.3

I can reproduce both those issues. I don't think it's the fact that it can't recognize disk 2, just that it hangs after reading some of it. Interesting... the second issue (black where it shouldn't be) sounds like it might be due to the same reason that Dungeon Master's cursor is black now...

    Uae4allgp2x 0.6.3

I've added disk writing support, as I've now been able to test it a bit (using workbench). Chui's code was already there, but there were a few things I wanted to investigate and fix before release. Version 0.6.4 is now available with this change...

    Rapidracoon - Racing Game Wip

So when can we buy it, and how? :)

    Rapidracoon - Racing Game Wip

Yes, I was wondering about that too. The archive has the teaser for that: http://archive.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,23,937 Watching the video for that, there's definitely no in-game footage. Let's keep our fingers crossed for this one though - it's looking very promising :)

    Rapidracoon - Racing Game Wip

There is no negativity surrounding the GP2X. You've never had it so good. EDIT for on-topicness: the game looks really cool. Is that demo actually running on a GP2X, btw? It's not clear.

    Java Runtime 1.0 Beta 2

I don't know how much use this will be to you guys, but if you haven't seen the news yet: From http://www.regdeveloper.co.uk/2006/11/13/s...ensources_java/

    Uae4allgp2x 0.6.3

Well, it's not unanswered... it's been answered several times (just not when you asked, I guess). No save to disk at the moment. Those screenshots were taken from Chui's Dreamcast web page. The GP2X port doesn't look like that ;)

Hmm... you do know that optimized part you quote is from Chui's uae4all code, right? :)

    Uae4all Gp2x 0.6.0 First Release With Integrated Fame/c

I honestly think that this GP2X community is exactly what you describe the old Amiga scene to have been. There's no bullshit here, developers always help each other, and there's a real sharing attitude. I haven't really seen any examples of people in this community treading on each other's toes...

    Uae4all Gp2x 0.6.0 First Release With Integrated Fame/c

If gnostic takes Ric's FAME/C integration (or performs it himself), the GP2X will have a fantastic, well-featured Amiga emulator. No-one's trying to poach anyone... you're somehow reminding me of the G*zm*nd* thing all over again ;) Although... now you come to mention it, did you see...

    Uae4all Gp2x 0.6.0 First Release With Integrated Fame/c

Chui's original uae4all is for the Dreamcast. He has implemented disk writing on that platform (which as you might imagine is quite a funky feature - if I remember correctly it saves just the parts that differ from the original disk image on the VMU card). Anyway, I haven't got around to...

    Uae4all Gp2x 0.6.0 First Release With Integrated Fame/c

I meant no disrespect to you with my "rocket science" comment... it's a great feature. I just meant that I could understand how you did it. I wouldn't want to host the mega-super-savestates myself however (bandwidth/possible legal issues). It's very decent of you to provide for users like...

    Uae4all Gp2x 0.6.0 First Release With Integrated Fame/c

It's not exactly rocket science ;) Interesting to see that they're hopefully going live soon with Chui's FAME/C core too. I've ported (but not released) uae4all to the PSP, using FAME/C, and it runs faster than pspuae 0.60. We'll see what happens, but if gnostic can either get FAME/C working...

    Emulators For Psp

I think it's safe to say that GBA emulation is better on the PSP at the moment, although that may change in the nearish future. I'm very new to the PSP (mine arrived as a result of a swap last week), so haven't tried everything out yet, of course. SNES 9X YTL - very good indeed. Was surprised...

When does it crash? If you use the uae4all-tweak script, DO NOT then go and use the overclocking option in the menu - it's not necessary. uae4all gp2x does not modify any pre-existing overclock, so it's fine to use the script.
