That was hard.
If anyone was doing work on hardware accelerated SDL they would have got my vote. In the end it went to Ari - simply awesome work. I really didn't think we would see any sort of N64 emulation on the Pandora for a long time.
No idea if this might be helpful. It's a guide a wrote to set up a Code::Blocks to cross-compile in Linux.

In all seriousness - I´d love a bank of game ideas.
From the way the controls should work to how the collisions interact to how it should look.
I'd enjoy that sot of challenge. Doubt it would be perfect but such is life :)
Ahhh OK I get it now.
I propose a game where a wizard, lets call him Stanley, uses his powers of magic to paint a target on himself (could be anywhere:.). All the players get one shot each to fire arrows of sarcasm into one of his gaping holes.

Still,
if anyone has...
I think the idea of a game design competition is a good one.
I enjoy writing homebrew games. I start with an idea (a top-down racer / a pool game / racing through a tunnel) and almost always follow it through until the end (my Yosemite Sam shoot-to-thrust game still might see daylight...)
But...
This is good to know as my left nub has done the same thing.
I'd rather put up with one nub working and return it (within warranty) when more are getting produced.
Does GBAX the OP team have an issue with me doing this? Or should I return it now?
*edit* actually this isn't an OP team...
Wow, I was going to suggest 'Moon' but couldn't be arsed reading the tread to see if it had been mentioned.
K-PAX is one of my favourite films. Great performance by Spacey.
An excellent example of '90s style.
In the '90s the bass player lead the band. As it should be.
Those other two are just hitting stuff that is vaguely in key and/or time. The bassist nailed it.
In the '90s we had FAR better music, FAR better clothes and FAR better rappers. Also we had the KLF. Watch and weep children as the JAMMs meet Tammy Wynette and sing about licensed street vending opportunities.
This would never happen today.
Enjoy :)
I am an idiot.
One of my filename extensions was in upper case. While the normal Pandora file system didn't seem to mind squashfs did not like it. Windows guys eh ;)
Here is the beta .pnd - hopefully finish it this week. It wont save or load high scores/best times yet.
