    Javascrispt Game Development

Tried it in all the browsers I have: Arora : works well Midori : didn't load (in fact fucked up Midori completely. Don't try this in Midori) Firefox 3.6.1 : slow Chromium : works well

    Javascrispt Game Development

Your Asteroid game is really nice B-ZaR :) I like JS/canvas for the same reasons and one more. I can now write games wherever I am with the Pandora. Probably have two projects on the go simultaneously now. One JS and one C++. My pet hate with JavaScript games are the random slowdowns caused...

    Javascrispt Game Development

Took 2 days to write - is really simple as you can see. It works fine on the Pandora in Chromium - not tried any other browser. Rendering style? No idea - I'm just drawing to a canvas element :) Yea, compiling without feedback is a pain. Just silently crashes or plain doesn't work. Spent an...

Thanks :) Might do another one before getting back to my main project.

    Javascrispt Game Development

Had a try at JavaScript game development and it's really straightforward. I used MousePad and Chromium along with some 'found' graphics and created a little test game using only my Pandora. The game itself is really simple, just a tester. The main draw for me was dev-ing anywhere. Ive included...

Where Are The Homebrew Games ?

I don´t want to get involved in a flame war so I´ll answer the last few post and bow out: And remember kids, it´s just my opinion :) I found Stans post patronising and unhelpful. The main reason I never asked for help is the amount of 'use the search function' replies and anal retentives...

Where Are The Homebrew Games ?

The reason is replies like this. I've asked by PM to the porter. I'm not having a go at hitnrun, he's got a life. *edit* ;)

Where Are The Homebrew Games ?

You dev like any other linux host? Seb - I have had no problems with Ubuntu libs (my first experience with Linux) just install via the package manager and forget. Remember - I'm a stupid M$ WinDoze user and just like to add the lib in the folder root... ;) For me programming should be a joy...

    Irrlicht..... Compiles....... Runs.......

Well done on getting it to compile :) Too slow for me too..... Cpasjustes demo looked so good too. Bloat? *edit* spelling

Where Are The Homebrew Games ?

It's a pain in the arse to develop for. PNDs are messy. Until a decent, official, SDK is released it will stay that way. Also, ports are easier, and for the most part better than anything most homebrewers (I fucking hate that word) will come up with. Just my 2 pence.

How Long Will It Be Supported?

Don't think that was a sales pitch, more common sense. I bought two DeLorean DCM-12s but only one flux capacitor. How stupid do I feel now?

This is excellent! Is there any way to map accelerate to a button rather than up on the dpad? Thanks for this sebt3 :D

    Beta Defendguin

This is excellent :) I love Williams Defender. Reverse looks 'wrong' but feels right, perhaps even better than the original. Weird... Cracking game - thanks for this :D
