    32GB SDHC card problems...

yeah, I hate kingston too. From now on I'm buying only sandisk. I received that 32GB class 4 sandisk ultra, and it was the first 32GB SDHC card that worked with ext2. I updated the SDHC list accordingly - it works really good. Good that I was able to return pretec 32GB without losing any...

    32GB SDHC card problems...

exactly, that's how it looks like. Also - it claims to have fixed the errors, but didn't. If you run fsck again - they will be still there. Even if you run consecutively ten fsck checks, the errors will still be there.

The one with seastar - I never tried it. If you give it a go, please remember to update wiki :)

    32GB SDHC card problems...

Yes, this test is better than md5summing. However I suspect that this test will still pass, while ext2/3/4 fsck will fail. That is because: 1) What I've done is inferior, but I have have done this test a lot by hand: creating and md5summing files. And copying them, it was always OK. 2)...

    32GB SDHC card problems...

I am pretty sure that my method, two posts above, is pretty reproducible, but it destroys your whole data. So be careful...

    32GB SDHC card problems...

During testing I narrowed the problems to a very short reproducible test (card in left slot): df # check if your partition, that you want to test, is mounted umount /dev/mmcblk0p1 # umount that partition df # read what...

    32GB SDHC card problems...

(sorry for that large snip ;) ) Thank you for all the valuable input. Now I have ordered "SanDisk class 4 32GB Ultra II (15 MB/s)". And I'll report shortly :) For now, I guess, the only thing that we can do is to collect as much as possible information in SDHC compatibility list. Even...

    Release Sparks

wow! awesome game! what's the easiest way to switch nubs? I want to fly with the right one, and shot with the left one. By default it's opposite. Are there any other keybindings that I should know about? If that's a python game (right?) then I could edit the source code, without recompiling...

    32GB SDHC card problems...

OK, so we need to add an appropriate disclaimer there. For now it looks like nobody has a working 32GB or 64GB card. For example, based on your lenghty explanations in [1] I started to look for 32GB Sandisk Eextreme class 6, but apparently it has never been produced: * class 6 sandisk...

    32GB SDHC card problems...

IIRC there's one problem with loopback on fat32 - max file size limit in fat32 is 4GB. So to get 32GB fs on fat32 we would need to try lvm or mdadm (to join the 4GB loopback devices together) EDIT: maybe I'll try that later.

    32GB SDHC card problems...

ext3 and ext4 don't work either. I just tried. mkfs.ext4 /dev/mmcblk0p1 ; fsck -C0 -fy /dev/mmcblk0p1 ; fsck -C0 -fy /dev/mmcblk0p1 Even though the first fsck claims that all errors are fixed, the second (and 3rd and 4th) one still finds the same errors, and fixes them again. EDIT: but...

    32GB SDHC card problems...

I bought a class 10 32GB kingston (the red one), and I had nothing but problems with it. I made two partitions: first a very big one in ext2, and at the end a small 500MB for swap. Then I tried to install Pandebian.pnd on it. And I got lots of filesystem errors. I tried several times, and...

    Release Java PND

Do you think that you could make it auto-detectable by firefox? It is pretty close to have more working stuff than I have on my regular desktop: both java and flash at the same time in firefox :)

    Release Sandora 0.1.1

I was also thinking about a different approach - search horizontally, both to left and right, without the limit on a distance (or up to 10 or 20 cells horizontally) until an empty cell is found, or until a wall is found. By this approach water will get instantly flat. But also when falling...

from http://mineth.net/ But please make sure to recognize L,R by keycodes, because I have assigned them to be left/right mouse buttons. Also, would you please make that key to show/hide the menu - to be configurable? or, that particles that touch the boundary will totally disappear..... did you...

    static discharge from R-button

Hi, pandora is charging, and pandebian is still installing (like 6 hours now). I picked it and while picking I felt a small static electric discharge between the top edge of R button and my fingers. R button is all plastic, so I don't know how it could get statically charged... Should I...
