Is There A Nintendo Gba/ds Emulator Out There

Ouch! :o Really? I remember trying PHOENIX WRIGHT last year and it ran nicely...but being basically a GBA port I guess it wasn´t a good test sample from the start :P

Is There A Nintendo Gba/ds Emulator Out There

There are NDS emulators on PC since 2005. What planet do you live on? :P We seem to have very different concepts of GP2X. For me it´s a device with lots of potential that lets developers expand and squeeze its functionality thanks to its open source nature and Linux support. So every project is...

Is There A Nintendo Gba/ds Emulator Out There

So? That´s a very shallow conclusion  Many people were sceptical about Mega-CD emulation (it was speculated as 'very unlikely') and Notaz proved them wrong. Touch screen could no longer be a drawback (see topic related). The only and bigger drawback I see is the simultaneous use...

Is There A Nintendo Gba/ds Emulator Out There

Just a REMINDER Yes, but how could it affect playability? I recall some games using both at the same time Dual-core nature of GP2X enters the game! As far as I know, most titles on NDS are 2D games. Not sure if achievements on 3DO and PSX could prove useful on more complex NDS games.

Handwriting Pad As A Touch Screen For Gp2x

Yes, I guess attaching a mini usb host like Gamegod´s or Nubie´s to the battery lid would keep it portable

Handwriting Pad As A Touch Screen For Gp2x

It has been discussed in Gp32spain. The idea is porting or developing drivers for THIS It fits nicely on Gp2x (Just needs a little modding and casing for the hanging board) SCROLL DOWN FOR EYE-CANDY Any open-source drivers for generic writing pads? Could Reverse Engineering do the trick? I...

The Whatever Happened To Zodttd Thread

Interesting...I guess moving sound to the 2nd core would help greatly too if it becomes a bottleneck.

My New Project: Final Burn Alpha

Wow, this Final Burn has matured very well. Last time I checked it only supported CPS1 & CPS2. Now It´s like GP2X MAME on steroids :D Looks promising! :)

The Whatever Happened To Zodttd Thread

DOSBOX!!! Lots of great games only exist for DOS (Eternam, Shadow of the Comet, Sierra SCI games, Princess Maker 2, Mad TV, Tyrian....with no annoying disk swapping). I think it´s worth trying

The Whatever Happened To Zodttd Thread

There are lots of adventure games with a simple and comfortable interface (like the Sierra SCI ones) and 1st person RPG´s could use a simple control scheme (action buttons for directional arrows, stick for mouse and L & R buttons for left and right click). Of course, it depends of the game but...

The Whatever Happened To Zodttd Thread

1- DOSBOX! (old Infogrames and Sierra SCI adventures on the go = my dream fullfilled...:) ) 2- PSX (Focusing on 2D and simple 3D games in the first place and then moving on with the problematic ones...)

Sega Saturn Emulator Source Code Anywhere?

Well, with some tweaking, 2D Saturn games could be feasible on gp2x, couldn´t they? However, if I recall correctly, Yabause on PC performs poorly (lock-ups, graphical glitches...) even with 2D games... A (limited) Saturn on the go would be awesome :)

Top Games That Run *well* In Dosbox V0.7

Well, your dream isn´t so far ahead...You have UFO Defense and Terror from the Deep on PSX ( 2D emulation has proved to be near fullspeed on most games, so expect them to be playable with sound soon ;) ) By the way, my dream would be to play those VGA Sierra adventures on the go :)

    Psx4gp2x Dynarec Status Update

Is it posible to rip PSX videos and convert them to avi? Then, a script or an external call to Mplayer would do the trick ( Just a wild theory...I lack programming skills )

    Dosbox 0.70.1 Released

I hope so. Time will tell... Anyway, Dosbox hasn´t showed all it´s potential on GP2X. I wonder how much boost can be achieved with a dynarec and several tricks/optimizations (Zottd will tell...;))
