    PICO-8

check out the top-rated cartridges on the Lexaloffle BBS to see some of the interesting things people have pulled off with the "console's" limitations. it's really funny that the game data is actually stored in the "cartridge's" .PNG image. heh. Voxatron is very neat indeed - really nice...

Mele's $70 X86 Bay Trail Mobile Ubuntu Compute Stick

i am also interested in how this works out. i'm in the market for a very low-power Minecraft server, and was looking at the RaspPi 3 or the Odroid C2. RPi3 didn't seem quite fast enough, and Odroid C2 is stuck on a soon-to-be EOL'd Linux kernel (Hardkernel maaaay have a solution for this, but no...

    Release Serious Sam: First Encounter

how old is that machine? the video card is of prime importance... the HD versions (running on Serious Engine 2.5) need a far beefier CPU/videocard. i played through Serious Sam 2 again a few months back (on Windows 7), and i never had any crashes - it was surprisingly stable... Croteam made...

yeah, when Fallout was originally released i was on a Pentium 60 with MS-DOS (which was my situation until 1997 or 1998 or so - next desktop i had was an AMD K6-400 inherited from my deceased uncle and ran Win98).

    ODROID-XU4

i've had my eye on an ODROID for a while, and the C2 model is very much of interest: http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=18683 however, i heard the Amlogic S905 was stuck on a 3-year-old Linux kernel (3.14 LTS) that will have support dropped this year? that's the one thing that's...

i know people are going to give you grief for working for Zuckerberg (i personally do not have a FB account and i trust that company about as far as i can throw them), but face it, it's a good learning opportunity and a high paycheck.
