Perfect - thanks a lot, tuki_cat! :)
Could you only please add this:
Press Q to quit the emulator in the main menu.
Press 1-4 in main menu to insert disk into DF0:-DF3: (<= this will be added in the release today).
Sorry - I couldn't manage to get savestates working.
As I said saving a state works now, but I tried to fix the restoring part for the last 2 days.
In the end I now can get it to restore a state so far that all savestate-debugging messages report success and the debug-output is identical to...
Tried two 3.0 kickroms (renamed to kick31.rom):
Kickstart v3.0 rev 39.106 (1992)(Commodore)(A1200)[!].rom works fine
Kickstart v3.0 rev 39.106 (1992)(Commodore)(A4000)[!].rom doesn't work (because we don't have 68040 emulation I guess)
@sabrecheeky: Only 1 HDF-file plus 1 HD-directory is supported.
The HD-directory can be any dir on your SD-card which you can put any Amiga stuff from your Amiga HDs into.
You could use your boot partition HDF in uae4all and copy all the files from your other partitions to your PC and then...
That's correct - savestates are broken in the current release.
Yesterday saw the functions save_cpu() and restore_cpu() (both are only a part of saving/restoring states) are empty in this new FAME/C-version.
Replaced the functions with the ones from the older FAME/C-release and now saving...
Possible but not planned and tbh not very high on priority list...
FastRAM is important. You can't use FastRAM if you have more than 2MB ChipRAM. But you shouldn't need more than 2MB ChipRAM anyway.
Thus the preset system setup "A1200" (main menu) is 2MB Chip- and 8MB FastRAM.
You're welcome m8!
Thank you for the continued support, tuki_cat.
Hey THB - glad you enjoy it. Good times indeed. We benefitted from someone with deep Amiga knowledge wanting to play A1200-games on his cellphone.
I've reported your issues in the issue tracking thread:
Don't know why it doesn't work for you.
Are you talking about uae4all, the xfce slider or typing the cmd in a terminal?
UAE4All now uses this command to change cpu speed setting:
echo y l sudo -n usr/pandora/scripts/op_speed.sh <newSpeedInMhz>
This does work fine on my Pandora. Also works when typing in the terminal.
I'm still on Beta 4 (currently don't want to install all those dev libs again).
For...
Do you have set Max OPP to 5 in Pandora settings? Because if not and you clock too high the system will halt.
Setting speed via uae4all menu works fine here with SZ beta 4.
All that's called is this:
echo y | sudo -n /usr/pandora/scripts/op_cpuspeed.sh <newSpeedInMHz>
Please type this in...
New version up:
http://repo.openpand...ail&app=uae4all
Changes:
- Setting CPU speed in "more options"-menu works again
- PND default speed set back to 600MHz; if you want UAE4All to always start with e.g. 1GHz set cpu speed to 1000 in "more options"-menu and then "save general config" in...
No, on start it'll set the cpu speed you've previously saved with general config in uae4all. If there is no general config yet then it'll just set the cpu speed to 600MHz.
I think I'll leave it at that and also change the PND-settings back from 800 to 600 to avoid the system dialog we get now...
