    Release CPU stress test

Mine (256MB CC) has been at 957MHz for quite a while now. Does this test ever finish or will it just stay at the last stable clock?

bluetooth - using GSM via mobile phone?

Heh, the first time I forgot to back up my contacts. I reluctantly started to use google sync for contacts. SMS Backup and Restore for SMS, Call Logs Backup and Restore for call logs, Astro File Manager for apps. Make sure to backup onto a MicroSD card or copy the backup files (also all the...

bluetooth - using GSM via mobile phone?

I actually gained some functionality because it's rooted now. You lose the Samsung UI, but the CM one is faster anyway. What I actually never got back (and have never used) is the radio app but there should be some on the app store.

bluetooth - using GSM via mobile phone?

Not the easy way with networkmanager at least although I gave up pretty quickly because I wanted to flash CM anyway. If I remember correctly the phone didn't list any network services when queried. I tried a tethering-app but it didn't work, either.

bluetooth - using GSM via mobile phone?

I have a Galaxy S, too. Bluetooth tethering started to just work with NetworkManager when I flashed it with CyanogenMod 9.

    Pandora 1Ghz

Although the gap can be a functional problem. If dirt gets caught in there it can mess up the touchscreen.

    Pandora 1Ghz

This... Also, you could see if some of the latches of the case around the screen popped out. Keeps happening to me on the one on the left speaker. Popping them back in made my Pandora lose it's screen gap completely.

    Pandora 2 is Modular

I agree with you but it definitely is very handy to compare batteries: 1Ah*1V=1Wh But that's beside the point, you'd still need 12 AAA batteries. EDIT: (Also, the Pandora battery holds 58kJ)

Booting a PC off of an ISO stored on my Pandoras SD card?

Hm, I tried it again with a Windows 7 iso. My laptop booted and started the setup but somewhere my Pandora locked up.

    Pandora 2 is Modular

Um, as far as I understand, the mAh value only makes sense together with the voltage of the battery. A 3.7V 4400mAh battery gives you 16.28Wh of energy. You'd need 12 1100mAh 1.2V AAA batteries for this.

    [solved] Mini USB adaptor/cable

Ah, I have the successor to your UMTS stick, at least mine draws way too much power for the OTG port. And the module you want to load is called g_cdc but echo didn't do anything for me either :/ You could try to solder the two pins together, that worked for me but killed 2 out of 4 adapters

Booting a PC off of an ISO stored on my Pandoras SD card?

Omfsm, I have just tried it and it works! I booted the arch linux install iso on my laptop :D sudo modprobe g_file_storage file=/path/to/filename.iso stall=0 cdrom=1 This has incredible potential, I'll never ever need to create a boot thumbdrive again :o Isn't this pretty much what the...

    [solved] Mini USB adaptor/cable

It is possible, you just need to get the Pandora into host-mode. I think there was also a solution to force host mode in software but I don't remember how. In hardware, however, the ID-pin on the plug for the Pandora needs to be connected to ground, according to Wikipedia. I managed to solder...

    Release Sputnik

It ran fine for me, I thought I took care of everything. That overlay thing happens to me, too, but only sometimes for some browsers. Go to localhost:8080/sputnik/register and localhost:8080/sputnik/login Maybe I should edit the sputnik/navigation page and add links to both there. Can you...

How would you prefer to save progress?

As an overkill anti-cheating measure you could create a mathematical function like bitcoin does that can't really be modified without being noticed (At least that's how I understood it o_o") I don't know how much I'd try to stop cheating, I always thought the community took care of that by...

    Release Sputnik

Hi klapse I use it as a diary and notebook where I document projects I'm doing, general thoughts and ideas, etc. It's a wiki like Wikipedia, only offline, private and a lot smaller :D There's also a Wikipedia article about it

    Release Sputnik

Hi, I've made a PND of Sputnik, a wiki written in Lua. It uses git (included in the PND) as a storage backend which I hope to be very cool to synchronize with across devices. Just run the app and point your favorite browser at localhost:8080 or edit the files in the wiki-data directory...
