    A Battery Question

In 5 to 6 years, if you do still care about your Pandora, I am sure there will be a way to attach a differing battery of the same voltage, after all, they will be smaller then :)

How Green Will Be The Pandora

Ever played WC Privateer? I always thought of Greanpeace whever I was hailed by a Retro, Same happens in Vega Strike when hailed by a Luddite. I fear a Greenpeace rep knocking on my door more than a Mormon, or a Jehovah's Witness. At least they go away when I say I really aint interested! If...

    Durability?

I agree, my GP2X has taken quite a beating over the years, the only part that I've ever had a problem with is the shoddy stick, but a small blob of BluTac fixed that right up! I'm guessing the Pandora will be just as well built, except it should not take them as many revisions :)

    Sod (snake On Dope) Released

A nice little fun game! Nice music, nice looking GFX, and all done in Fenix? Nice!

    Ubuntu On Pandora

"Yeah, but look at this, my Pandora can run Ubuntu!" "Ok, I'll have a look" "OK, just wait 30 minuites for it to start" "Uhh, sure - 'Wonders off after 2 mins'" I'm sure its possible, but really, it just isn't plausible. As for the Ubuntu name, why could you just not say when asked about OS...

    The 'select' Button

Start, Select and Pandora buttons sound nice. A way to kill misbehaving apps is a must. That would be good for de-bugging on the Pandora with no PC present nicer, as you could launch an app from a terminal, and then switch to the terminal when the program bombs to view any errors that maybe output.

What Brand 16gb Sd Should I Buy For F100?

The official 4.0 F100 firmware also supports SDHC.

    Bricked F200

20 times? Wow, my GP2X really should be a brick by now :P It is not true that re-flashing via JTAG wears out the NAND. What actually happens is *yet another feature* that GPH still have not yet fixed, the NAND gets all messed up due to blocks being marked as bad, that are in-fact fine. This...

Newbie Question: Samba Networking & Media Streaming With Gp2x

http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?act=S...ghlite=smbmount So that would be a yes. A word of warning though, you would have to either a) buy a F100 to be able to use the built in USB to USB networking, F200 has had this functionality removed, so to use networking on a F200 you would need to...

    Playstation Emulation

Yeah, Ridge Racer, TOCA, and GTA1 all run, but run way too slow. Nice to see linkage from zodttd.com to openpandora.org! Thats quite a popular website and is sure to help spread the word!

    Pandora Vs Eee Pc Specifications

I agree, its apples and oranges. They might be nice together, and some people may prefer one or the other, but neither can be compared.

I Think The Gp2x Just Bricked My Sd, Any Suggestions?

Have you tried the HP USB drive format utility ? I have had a few cases over the years (bad iPod file system, several USB and SD cards that would not reformat) where this tool has saved the day. Its quite safe too, as it will only format removable media, there is no way you can format your hard...

    F200 Won't Boot Up

Its not because you over clocked. Resetting the GP2X will reset the clock speed back to normal, nothing alters the default clock speed, and the ARM CPU's generate very little heat. It could be a faulty component, or a bad NAND. You may want to send it to someone like EvilDragon to get it fixed...

    I Don't Want Pandora Anymore.

The new EEEPc's aint bad, but they aint hot either. Well, not if you are looking for what the Pandora will offer. Does the EEEPC have gaming controls? Yes, if you plug a controller into it. Does the Pandora? Yes. Does the EEEPC fit in your pocket? No, unless you are really fat, or have...

    Broadband On The Go...

I've used one of the UK branded ones (from O2) on Ubuntu 6.06, and yeah, it just works. Like mentioned above, it uses the usbserial driver, Linux just see's it as a modem, and yes, they use "dialing" to log on. Afterall the technology is based on mobile phones, so its got to be pretty...

    Emulation? Gp2x Vs Psp

There is a big difference between the blurring of a CRT, and Bilinear filtering. Also most half decent CRT's didn't ghost the image, nor did it double some pixels, giving an uneven look. :P

    Gnuboy2x - Any Sources Available?

The sources currently posted for gngb do not compile for me, whether I am compiling for x86 or arm. I have tried a few tricks to get it to compile, but the resulting binary will not run on my desktop or my gp2x (SDL parachute). Any links to any other projects that have something working that...

    Fleshchasmer I: The Eve V1.2

Heh, I loved this game when it first came out, a word of advice to everyone, just like most RPGs, if you can't go any further, go back and grind like hell :) The bad English actually gives this game a nice retro feel, Even some of the best translated games can lose a lot in translation (Zero...

    Movie Player In Firmware 4

Just tried it, although I don't use my GP2X for videos, but yeah, it did not offer to resume playback of an Xvid nor a DivX. Maybe its F100 only?
