A kinda random and unfinished review of my Pandora.
Disclaimer: I dreamt of something the Pandora is not. That's my own fault. :-)
Also I just read what I wrote and it seems to be only negative things. The pandora is awesome, I just listed the things I did not like.
My main plans were...
The format is absolute overkill. Either provide FLAC (which is lossless ans thus people could convert to their target format/bitrate with no problems) or use something like MP3 V0 or Vorbis at Q5-7.
I do own a Pandora and am currently browsing Smartphones to see if I can replace my old phone and the Pandora with one. It turned out that I just do not do the things I thought I would be doing with the Pandora. Partly because I expected it differently, partly because I just don't. N900 or one...
Do NOT buy an A-DATA card. I had two of them, randomly dying and I am not the only one:

Earlier today I swam through a pond, got backstabbed by a dragon, set my pants on fire, gargled acid, panicked, blinded myself, fell into a pit and then was sandwiched to death by said dragon and a giant bat.
Small and easy suggestion:
Add custom actions to Thunar for removing things.
For files: rm %F
For directories: rm -r %F
That way one can properly delete things with just a rightclick. I don't know how/where Thunar stores its config.
For Quake 3 you need to put the whole baseq3 directory in there. Not just the files that are in it. ScummVM should at least show its menu, tried redownloading the pnd?
Try removing it and start again with clean files. Apparently it unpacks some files. Maybe that went wrong. It runs fine for me.
Could someone try to "un-pnd" it and run anything? I get framebuffer errors and segfaults.
gPsp runs really nice (and what a great menu it has). I could not access...
Quake does not use WAD files (well, for textures but you do not mean those). You mean the game data. For Quake that is pak1.pak. Yes, you can use it for the Pandora. But be aware that the Steam version of Quake does not include any soundtrack.
