My micropc is significantly smaller than my netbook.... the micropc measures about 6"x4.5" (or 15.2cm x 11.4cm assuming my math is correct). (but I think Grench was referring to another product... wrong group, perhaps?)

Are you a Linux user or Windows user? Or maybe a macOS user?

Most of my computers run some variant of Linux, although I do have a couple with Win10 on them (my microPC and a laptop... mainly to run tax software on). My "main" computer runs Linux Mint... I use it for gaming (mostly blizzard games) as well.

Looking through the comments on indegogo, that seems to be an issue on some of them. (along with some battery issues.) Another place to keep an eye on is the reddit forum. https://www.reddit.com/r/gpdmicropc/

I don't have an account on the .au ebay... but I think that Xcl4m4t10n was referring to the ebay auction, not your original post.

I'm going to leave mine on Windows right now until some time's passed for all the kinks to be worked out. Besides.. it makes a pretty good video streamer for the Women's World Cup soccer matches.

Oof... I don't know who runs the department that handles PR / Indegogo updates... but when your backers are clamoring for an update... perhaps sending out an advertisement for your next product as an update... is probably not the best idea.

I'd love to have one of the Pocket 2's.. but their just too expensive "new", for me. I've been thinking about maybe purchasing 2nd hand off ebay, but haven't pulled the trigger, yet.

I get the impression that these will all ship with Windows 10 and it's up to the user to put Linux on them.

You should be able to click on the link in my post to get to the only reddit post I know of... I was just searching on reddit and found that. I had seen on a couple of "comments" on indiegogo that "people kept hearing that ubuntu wouldn't work"... so I just assumed that was from reddit.

From reddit GPD has decided to use a MIPI display panel and not use a eDP to MIPI bridge chip with it this time (other devices used a bridge chip or had eDP interfaces). My understanding is that the MIPI API is display/panel specific. Also, in order to get that information you'd have to sign...

As an Intellivision enthusiast... is it weird that upon seeing the mention of the "Intellivision dragon" that I immediately started hearing the sounds in my mind of the Intellivision D&D game dragon?
