I have ported across to 0.74 code base. Everything seems to be working very nicely on the Nanonote. I've done zero testing on the A320.
What's the default kernel that people are using on the A320 these days?
Also are there any Nanonote users that want to do some testing? Let me know please.
Believe it or not still working on this.
Will migrate to 0.74 as that was released.
I'm trying to optimize a bit more.
The Nanonote version is very good now and has full mouse/keyboard support - I have been using it myself frequently. Probably my most used self-developed emulator.
That's excellent.
Are there actually any changes to the SDL libraries? Or are the changes just in the kernel?
I assume that SDL_Flip when working in double buffer mode only does the graphics page flip? I hope that it doesn't need to do any actual blitting work.
I'll need to check if the...
I've pretty much done everything I wanted to do on Dosbox 0.73 for A320/Nanonote. Just have one little bug to fix on the A320.
I had a look at Dosbox 0.74 and it looks like I may upgrade to this as the changes for A320/Nanonote are only in a few files here and there.
Okay that's mouse emulation in. Also as a significant bonus the keymapper screen is fully working now too. This should be a boon for A320 users too so that you can re-map buttons on the fly.
Now I've got to make it work with the new Open Dingux kernel.
That reminds me... what percentage of...
Oh is that all... :)
Thats pretty significant. The double buffer support would be worth it alone!
Okay, well looks like I'll have to use this new kernel.
NAND support is also nice.
Thanks for the summary. I was starting to think that deving for Dingux was going to be superceded by just doing...
GP32 family consists of NLU, FLU, BLU and BLU+. Check wikipedia for the differences.
The BLU is probably the best of the lot. The NLU is the worst as it gives you the least options in terms of lighting.
The FLU is a great choice too as it offers great out-door visibility and good indoor.
The...
Thanks Iorgy77 - that made my day. Glad people enjoy it. Was great fun to write and watch it grow.
I had planned on adding Pitfall 2 support and even multiplayer RF support for 2 player games like Combat but didn't quite get that far.
I've also still have a port of Exophase's most excellent...
Getting back into some development after a much needed break.
Who is using their Nanonote for DOSBOX?
Big improvements in the next version. I've got the following working:
* Full keyboard working (Nanonote only, obviously)
* Built in mouse support (for both Nanonote/A320)
And will also...
I had the latest code for Castaway for the GP32 and compiled and made up some optimizations. The result is that it runs a fair bit faster.
I didn't know if anyone is still interested in the GP32? Are they?
