    Release Ginge

With Pandora at 500mhz, frameskip 0, I am getting a solid 60 fps on all games I tried with the latest gp2x release of gpsp. I don't think changing the clock speed setting within the emu menu has any effect, but I'm sure notaz could clarify at some point.

    Release Zelda Classic For Pandora

I don't know what else you have planned, but this release hits the main things I was looking for. Music, controls, screen scaling and fullspeed performance with overclocking.

    Release Ginge

So far so good with mame4allwiz, gpsp, and I tried gpfce and pocketsnes just because. I guess the only reason to use the latter two would be software scaling modes for 4:3 resolution. No luck with fba2x, cps2emu (crash on launching from capex) and temper (black screen on launch). Anybody try...

    Release Zelda Classic For Pandora

Great to see the releases being pumped out. Looking forward to giving it a shot.

    Release Ginge

D'oh. I always forget these pnd's have readme's accessible on the pandora. I guess it's something about the interaction of ginge and gpsp and the frameskip code, I don't know, but turning the frameskip to 0 seemed to do the trick; racing gears holding steady at 60fps. I am a happy man. :)

    Release Ginge

Wow. I would say notaz is my hero, but he kind of already was. Had to find the ol' gp2x and tap that SD card. Got mame4allwiz running. Outrun runs so beautifully. Had some sound issues but I thinking changing to 15khz fixed that. One thing I'm wondering about is emulation performance. I...

    Release Zelda Classic For Pandora

Hitnrun, think there's any room for speedups in the code? Unfortunately; while scaling is pretty much a necessity; it slows things down quite a bit. Got 46fps on the default quest at 800mhz. i suppose music, if added, would slow it down even more. otherwise, keep up the good work.

    Release Zelda Classic For Pandora

Definitely go for scaling first. you can play without music, but that screen is just too small without scaling.

    Release Zelda Classic For Pandora

Tried the download again today for the first time in a while and it worked. Oh well, will give it a shot now. EDIT: Okay, so I tried it. Pretty nice start. I stumbled upon the menu via the touchscreen, allowing you to change controls among other things. Unfortunately it doesn't save...

    Beta Zelda ... Kind Of

Played the newest pnd a bit and all seems well so far. Nice to have music back, and the new controls came naturally to me anyway. I just unconsciously started hitting the SNES style button layout, and it took me about 2 minutes to realize the controls weren't that way in the last release. :)...

    Beta Zelda ... Kind Of

I tried to test, but I think there's something wrong with the pnd. It's not being detected by MiniMenu or xfce on my pandora.

    Release Zelda Classic For Pandora

Weird. I thougt it was maybe a browser thing, but I tried it again in 3 browsers, and clicking on Accept and Decline both take me to a game list.

    Release Zelda Classic For Pandora

Great to see a port--can't wait to try it. Like ED, looking forward to full screen and hopefully music, but good to hear speed is good already. EDIT: I don't know if it's a problem with the upload or the site, but after you hit accept for the license, it sends you back out to a list of Pandora...

    Beta Zelda ... Kind Of

One thing to consider regarding overclock is that some was already necessary. In most places it was fine, but in the forest of Time to Triumph for instance, the fog really slowed things down without overclocking.

    Beta Zelda ... Kind Of

So far so good with the newest, non-timidity version. And yeah, I haven't spent much time with ketm, but didn't see any freezes otherwise.

Beta Snes9X4D4P - Another New Build, Now With Hi Res And New Rom Picker

I'll stick with the 6/1 version until save states are fixed, but the speed on this release seems ok to me. I tried Pilotwings, Mario Kart and Contra 3 (3 relatively demanding games) at 700 mhz with 3:2 scaling and zero frameskip, and none of them ever dropped below 60 fps. Rom picker's a...

    Beta Zelda ... Kind Of

Hmmm, overlooked the release of ketm. Will have to give it a shot tomorrow.

    Beta Zelda ... Kind Of

Tried the new pnd twice and both times it froze in less than 2 minutes. I guess it's not control issues.

Beta Snes9X4D4P - Another New Build, Now With Hi Res And New Rom Picker

As with the other scaled version of snes9x, save states aren't working for me. It crashes back to minimenu whenever I try to save a state or load a state from the June 1 release. As for scaling, 2x2 is a good option, as is 3X2, although if possible an option to stretch to a 4:3 ratio would be...
