I guess even if rendering is slow the engine could still be useful for "Freescape" stlye games (anyone remember driller, darkside, total eclipse, castle master?!) those games were great despite running at...
I'd love to hear more on this - I bought my GP32 for gpfrodo too!
it's a great emulator - love the interface and controls, save states would just make it complete. Saving D64 files would be great too.

I had a SMC that died when using my rio500 mp3 player - I couldn't format it with anything and thought it was dead. But over at Rioworld.org, they suggested using this card reader:

Savestates would be brilliant - hope it gets included sometime.
I just got my GP32 today, bought it mainly as a portable C64 - it really works great :D
