I've gone for the Sandisk Ultra SDHC 16GB from Amazon. Only cost me £9.82 as I signed up to try out the Amazon Prime thing.
Hopefully there wont be any compatibility issues with the Pandora and I can buy another one in a couple of weeks :)
That's quite ironic.
The problem that I had with the original was that the stick was way too sensitive. I couldn't turn a corner without bashing into the walls, and shooting anyone was down to pure chance. I spent about 3 days looking for ways to slow it down but gave up when I found out it was...
Cheers Seb, this is an unexpected surprise. I wasn't even aware it had been open sourced B)
I bought this game on the PC years ago but could never get my flight stick working with it at the time and my comp was too slow. I also accidentally stepped on the CD before I could get both of the...
Erm.. because there is no guarantee how long that will take or even if I will be able to get one. I'm not waiting 5 years for nothing. Instead I'll take what I originally paid for and Invoice Craig for the extra money and original shipping cost that I've had to pay. That way it frees up a place...
Not good news for me. I've just paid for the upgrade and will be getting the lowest spec model with a second hand board in it instead of the 1Gb model that I was supposed to be upgrading to.
Looks like I got screwed again :-(

Actually on the thread here you said..
"Like, how much "baggage" are you willing to carry forward?
I just hope that all of this will not further negatively impact any potential Pandora successor. (like adding 100 Euros more to the planned price just to further support Craig's customers).
At...
And as it has already been stated on this thread; the pre-orders were all collected and directed from one page and people didn't get to choose who they ordered from. Most people didn't even realise that there were more than one company. All the devs were responsible for getting the Pre-orders...
You really don't get it do you? They don't expect to get anything for free, just what they are owed.
The original deal for the pre-orders was simple..
The pre-order money will help bring the Pandora to market and the people that pre-order will get a first edition Pandora in return.
The devs...
True on both accounts but the TV-out needs improving anyway and it could still save money and clear more pre-orders.
I really don't see why this shouldn't be an option. Just because you or I wouldn't go for it, doesn't mean that nobody else would.
Your the one wanting to give the pre-order people nothing. Don't you think this would be a better idea than nothing or do you not see that??
Some people asked for a console version of the Pandora years ago so It's not like people haven't asked for this to happen before. It would also allow...
What I'm talking about is another option that would help clear the pre-order queue and at the same time bring more software and developers to the community. There might be better options out there but none of them will help out the current situation will they?
Most emulators do work better on...
Not at all. One of the best things about the Pandora and other such devices is that they give you a single platform with which to code for. This makes it easier to write software as one program fits all. It also means that bugs in emulators and other software are easier and faster to track down...
I don't see why the option to take a Pandora board only hasn't been mentioned yet. With TV out working, a power supply and a USB controller, it would make a decent enough dedicated gaming console.
Not only would that be a lot cheaper to fulfil some of the pre-orders but it would have the added...
What the hell are you on about? It takes two to do a business deal doesn't it? and doesn't a hand shake and emails seal a deal too? The company told Craig that they could do what he wanted. This alone makes them partly responsible.
I never said the current Pandoras were financed by the pre-orders. What I said was that the Pandora wouldn't have been brought to market without them and by extension the new Pandoras wouldn't exist without them either.
