    Fighting Fantasy Update

For those that don't know, there are many of the Lone Wolf books available free (and legally) to download or play online at Project Aon

    2600

Please don't make assumptions, I never once said 2600 emulation would be easy, all I said is we don't have a decent 2600 emu and we don't. The current ones are based off a pc emu that is incredibly old and obsolete and was never considered a decent emu. Porting from Stella would seem the...

Running Old Dos/win95 Games On Winxp

A friend of mine had this exact same problem, the strange thing was I knew the game in question worked on mine, so I gave her my copy of autoexec.nt and it worked fine afterwards. Try replacing the autoexec.nt with the one in Windows\repair\

    Fighting Fantasy Update

Yeh there's about 60 FF books, although Steve Jackson probably only wrote about 10 of them.

    2600

And barely any games work properly, and a lot that do load ok have collision detection problems making them unplayable unless you reduced the frameskip to 0 in which case everything crawls along at a snails pace. I'm not criticising the people who made the 2600 emus but to say that they we have...

    2600

It's just a pity there's no decent 2600 emu for the gp32 at all :(

    Sega32x On Dr.megadrive?

You will NEVER have 32x games running on GP32, or at least not at a playable level.

What You Playing At The Moment

Aladdin, Another World and Out Run atm. And although Another World can be tricky at first it's one of the easiest games to complete :)

    Fighting Fantasy Books For Gp32?

I wondered if adventure gamebooks were possible using VNS ages ago but didn't have the time to look into it properly, if you can do it then it would be great! If you could convert the Lone Wolf books as well that would be excellent.

    Compatibility Changes In Drmd V2.0

Just keep bashing the start button to get desert strike to work, pressing it quickly enough skips the briefing before it can freeze up. Then simply do a savestate and you won't have to do it again.

    Drmd Version 2.0

Thanks Reesy for an incredible emulator, it's simply amazing the progress you've made with it. Apart from all the sound and graphic fixes it's also become sooo much more compatible, a truly excellent job. A couple of things I have noticed, (these aren't complaints) which I don't think are...

    Castaway.. Needs Auto-frameskip?

auto frameskip would be excellent along with better gamma options for us poor non-blu users! :)

    Another World (delphine)

Unfortunately Castaway's gamma is incredibly poor compared to most emulators and I agree Another World is very hard to see on a flu. The snes version runs but is a little too slow for me, the megadrive version doesn't work on most/all? md emus.

Inspiration Thread: Best Emu Games For The Gp32

What exactly is meant to be the problem with creatures on frodo as I'm sure I played it on frodo several months ago.

Don't Write Off The 8 Bit Computers!

The ST is 16bit so doesn't count But yes there are so many excellent 8bit computer games it's pretty much impossible to list them all. One of my all time favourites is H.E.R.O. which is available for several 8bit computers (and consoles)
