    Beta Lemmingsdl V0.9.9

I have another test request. Can somebody test this version of the pnd please: http://lessermatters.homeunix.com/LemmingsSDL/LemmingsSDL_Release0.9.9/LemmingsR2.pnd It (should) only have one difference from the previous 0.9.9 and that is I've fixed 'nuking' in the 2-player mode. Previously it...

    Beta Lemmingsdl V0.9.9

Ah, great! At last :-) I had forgotten about the Pandora's screen resolution - I will have to have a look at that. I have just noticed that I broke Nuking for 2 player, so I'll have to do another version anyway. Glad it's working and it's ace to see it running on an actual Pandora! Though, the...

    Beta Lemmingsdl V0.9.9

Cheers for that. I've just tried your pndtools: I'm at work, so didn't try it under my normal environment (an XP VMware image). I downloaded my latest pnd, chucked it in pndtools and re-ran it. I've plonked it here: http://bayfiles.com/file/11ob/n0dWOf/Lemmings.pnd Please let me know and I'll...

    Beta Lemmingsdl V0.9.9

Annoying! I attempted to create another version using your pndtools - I did run the chmod command as well but maybe I did something else wrong. Yeah, please, it would be nice for another foxblock package! I will get to understand that last step eventually :-) EDIT: I just tried pndtools again...

    Beta Lemmingsdl V0.9.9

Thanks for supplying the actual link foxblck! I did build with pndtools but it still doesn't work properly when running squashfs and chmod. I do that bit manually and then use pndtools to append the xml (I assume that's what it's doing). I'll try the new version now.

    Beta Lemmingsdl V0.9.9

Hi there, I've added two new features that I would really appreciate testing on the pandora. These are: * Alternative selection mechanism. Toggle with 't' * progress saving. Happens automatically, stamps a level as 'complete' and goes to current non-completed level on startup I would be...

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

Thanks for the feedback. No, I do not like the fact the cursor is only hidden and shows the state of the lemmings at the last cursor position - I will fix that for the next release. I like A-B for 'lefties' but should it be optional or not? Is there a global pandora setting for left handedness...

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

Foxblock has kindly provided a working 0.9.7 pnd file. It's up on my site (and the repo), if anyone wants to test it? Though I expect 0.9.8 will be superior due to the control changes specifically for Pandora.

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

Arrghhh! Ahem. Right, Yes, that sounds like the problem but it's strange as in all the build output the parameter is being passed into gcc. well I'm working on the improved key layout now, so I'll give trying to actually build a Pandora specific binary a rest for now! Feel free to build it...

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

Yeah, I the terminal flashes up and disappears too quickly but it seems like columns of numbers. I most appreciate your offer of building LSDL for me but before you do that, can you test the binary and pnd I've put up on my site please? I think I've built it correctly this time meaning, I think...

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

AAaahhh! Now I understand! :-) Now, I see why LemDS has the highlight-a-lemming mode! Of course! Well, yes the obvious quick solution is, as you say, remove the mouse-pointer when built for Pandora. Thank you, I have added your ideas to my Lemmings TODO list. Thanks again for your great...

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

Okay, fair enough point but I haven't had any negative feedback regarding the input method on a Pandora as of yet (apart from the issues you've mentioned which should be fixed when the build is done properly using the Pandora flag). I honestly do appreciate your feedback but I would like to try...

The what tv show/Boxset are you watching thread.

Breaking Bad! The most recent episode was just thrilling! Can't wait for the next series of The Walking Dead too!

Could this mean home VR finally?

Agreed. I have been waiting ever since I read about two synched (I think) Atari ST's connected to a pair of goggles with motion sensors attached. VR man, it's the future. If these things aren't over a grand - I'm extremely tempted but the question is...does it run linux?

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

Have you tried the version in the repo? Apparently that works properly (I.E. it's been build with the correct pre-processor flag!). I built it again last night but completely failed to rebuild the .pnd file :-( I'll try again tonight. You could be correct about the touch-screen thing but nobody...

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

I think most of those issues are resolved as there are tests for build type. I'm using Eclipse to setup the build so am obviously missing something. I'll have another crack in a minute...if only I had a Pandora, this would be much easier.

Can you test LSDL again please, I've added a new pnd file http://lessermatters.homeunix.com/LemmingsSDL. Many thanks :-)

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

Hi guys, I've rebuilt the pnd file using pndtools. For some reason the squashfs and chmod kept failing but I did those bits manually and it seems to have appended the xml file okay (the file size increased anyway). So, if anyone could test this, I would be most thankful

    $1 Pandora.

I'm not trying to be funny or bitchy or anything but if the forums are costing too much money to run, then can't the GP32x forums be used again - just send the link to there instead! job done! I ordered a metal pandora thingy, I honestly hope that it helps everyone embroiled in this fiasco :-)

    Beta Lemmingsdl 0.9.7

I have indeed. In fact I have used the LemmingsDS level format in my version. Yes, I could've just ported the whole thing but I had been working on my version (with just a static image of a level) for a while before I discovered his and I wanted to do as much myself as possible - I also...
