    GPD WIN 2

We need Ashens to review it like he did the Pandora. Tho he may be unhappy with the lack of full sized NeoGeo popping out of the second SD slot.

    GPD WIN 2

Linus Tech Tips has gotten ahold of one but I haven't actually watched the video yet. Edit: autocorrect fails

Intel has abandoned the low power/low heat x86 CPU line so there will not be a x86 that will fit in the Pyra thermal envelope any time soon.

Definitely won't be getting a Win 2 then.

Best wireless Mouse for gaming in bed?

Never played an FPS (or any gaming really) in bed, I didn't have a problem with soft surfaces but I wasn't doing anything more demanding than control Netflix away from my desk. What happened to it was my niece took it and gave it back broken

Best wireless Mouse for gaming in bed?

I loved my g700 (non s) but haven't used any of the MX mice so can't tell you how they compare. The g700 worked well on any surface I tried it on.

    GPD WIN 2

My point was if I'm buying a pocketable system at that price it would be a Pyra and if I was looking for a portable x86 system there are better options.

I can put Linux on a Ryzen system.

    GPD WIN 2

at $750 for the win 2 if I needed a x86 based system I'd get the a Ryzen 2500u laptop. I've seen the HP one on sale for $600. If I'm going to spend that much on a pocket sized computer it would be a Pyra.

    GPD WIN 2

I agree that anything higher would be too much, I wouldn't want 1080p on it, I just want to hit 768 for a few old games. 1366x768 or going 16x10 and 1280x800 would be what I'd want. At 6 inch 1366x768 would have pixels be (negligibly) larger than 1280x720 on 5.5 inch. Just measuring width to...

    GPD WIN 2

I'm a little disappointed that the screen is "720p" I was hoping for 6 inch at 1366x768 to run some old titles hard coded to 1024x768 that can't run on the Win1.

    Installing/Using WINE on the Pyra!

Actually WINE is, by definition, an emulator.

    PSX Emulation on the GPD-Win

The PSX emulator I use on my desktop needs max frameskip on the win. As a result I only use it for Dragon Quest 7.

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

I never got Linux working on it. I've given up and am back on Windows.

Likely YouTube has a bigger buffer than VLC to a NAS so you don't notice the connection interruptions as much. Edit: autocorrect fails

    GPD WIN 2

I have no issues with the GPD Win being to large, in fact I find it too small but I can pick up a basket ball with one hand so I'm not a normal user.

    GPD WIN 2

Any idea if the screen is still 1280x720? There are a few older games that will not run with a vertical resolution less than 768. 1366x768 at 6 inches would still have individual pixels be slightly larger than 1280x720 at 5.5 inches.

I've said it before I can do 99.99% of what I want to do with the Pyra with 2GB of RAM.
