I don't know of any good open source emulators, so unless someone starts one from scratch ( which would include reverse engineering the 3do as there aren't any technical docs either ) I very much doubt you'll ever see an emulator.
Actually the details for the PMP3100 are not confirmed yet, everyone seems to think its based on a Sunplus chipset which usually includes an ARM926 cpu....so I could be wrong.
However the Letcool system is confirmed to be based on the Sunplus 8000 chipset with an ARM926 cpu! nice...and it...
Nice a Dingoo but with an ARM cpu...I'm getting one, it doesn't get much better than that does it?
Ahh forget about PMP3100, have a look at the one below...its lovely

I found my mistake, I was hacking around in your fgl_cube_demo which mentions appDisplay as a global variable. I was using this for the display_clear and display_flip functions.
However I completely missed the fact the appDisplay is also declared as a local variable within main(), so the...
:) yeah. Actually "Finalburn" Dave was the god, I was just sat on his shoulders taking all the credit ;). Cyclone is a quality piece of work! Whatever happened to Dave?
nice work flatmush. I've not made any progress at all, I'm experiencing system lock ups for no obvious reason.
If I have some code in the main() function it works fine, but if I move the section of code into a separate procedure and then call the procedure from main() the application just...
Thanks flatmush, I've been mucking about with your library this morning and everything works brilliantly. I've been going through opengl tutorials and most things are translating over to your lib with no problems. I'll see if I can take an opengl tutorial on landscapes and create it using your...
Hi Flatmush,
I know pretty much know nothing about 3d programming but its always been something I wanted to mess with. Because of my lack of experience I'm not really able to guess at what the upper limits of your library are in terms of what games could be possible. I'm guessing an X-wing...
Thanks for trying it. Does the emulator fail to load any roms or is it just Pilotwings which hangs? There's much I can do without being able to debug it, the only thing I could do is compile it for the GP2X and hope it crashes in the same place.
Just in case anyone with Wiz hardware wants a...
I've downloaded the Wiz toolchain, applied the patch to the source code and compiled a new version. I don't have a wiz so could someone tell me if the following works and more importantly if Pilotwings is any faster.
http://reesy.gp32x.de/pocketsnes_wiz.zip
Thanks
Reesy
Nope, I was just surprised to hear Pilotwings was running so slowly when I can remember completing it on the Gizmondo. I have no intention to do any further work on Pocketsnes.
Ahh excellent, thanks. I've compared this source against mine and the possible cause of the performance problems is the DSP1EMU.C source file. If someone where to take a copy of DSP1EMU.C from one of my releases ( http://reesy.gp32x.de ) and replace the one is HeadOverHeels's version you...
I've not been able to find the source code for the Wiz port, so there's not much I can do unfortunately. Its a shame when open source code is not open source ;)
Pilotwings used to be playable on the Gp2x on the older versions of Pocketsnes released by me, I think at some point a change has been made which has screwed the performance up does anyone have the source code for the Wiz version I could maybe have a look to see if I can find where things went...
Megadrive/Genesis = GP2X wins ( ARM optimised Picodrive...sweet!)
GBA = Dingoo wins ( gpsp runs very on the dingoo )
Snes = neither are perfect but are playable.
The only problem I had with the website was that the text was so small. Is not very easy to resize the text when the website is created using flash, the flash player did allow me to zoom in but I could not get it to zoom back out to the original size. But from what I could read it all looks good.
